Hi all,

Just wanted to log in and say thanks to all the folks here who have been compiling technical data on the toxicity of e-cigs, it's made my life a whole lot more pleasant as a desk based toxicologist. There's information you guys have found that conventional journal search engines just won't pick up.

I'm still waiting to see a report from the ADA (American Dental Association) on the benefits of e-cigs. I thought that would be a great thesis topic.

Looking into the tox of one of the major ingredients, prop glycol which is an effective bacteriocide, they'll probably do wonders for the prevention of plaque formation.

Yep got that one ta.

Mostly after formulations of the cartridges and any analysis of the inhaled vapour.

I have a report somwhere of the use of prop glycol mist in a hospital ward resulting in a significant reduction in respiratory infections as well but I imagine that has done the rounds here for a while.
