I suppose an intro is in order. I'm not new to vaping, but I also haven't really had a whole lot of interest posting here... until now.

A little bit of history: I ran into vaping back with Blu was the cool thing with it's snazzy PCC and blue light. It was the thing. So before I ordered it, I got on and started looking around. Of course, Mods were the uber thing back then still, same as they are now, but there's something about the mass produced chinese models that really drew me at the time, they looked like cigarettes. I ended up settling on the V4L because of their broad selection of flavors.

I've been using them off and on for over a year now, and their selection is still hard to beat. (Maybe someone has a supplier with more selection? I'd like to see it.) The biggest wall i've run into, though, is I can't find a flavor that I can stick with. Was using their Parlament flavor for the longest time, and it was absolutely awesome. Then we got some bad carts, some bats went out on us, and just found ourselves at a point where we would need to buy a whole new starter to get going again. I was out for 3 months.

Recently picked up a starter kit again. and the parlament flavor has changed. I can't explain it really, it's just different. I've been kicking around their fruitier flavors the past couple of days. Liked the strawberry, grape, and blueberry, but find myself sending carts back a lot. The flavors I like they seem to not sell too much, cause I end up with burnt or dried out carts that taste absolutely aweful. I need to switch to a new system with much more flavor reliability.

Hence why I am here.

The present: Waiting on my bank to clear my paycheck, which should be to day. and I'll be putting in an order for a Volcano Inferno-T. I know they're getting mixed reviews, but I think at this point anything will be an upgrade from what I've been dealing with, and I want to get away from cartriges all together. I'll also be ordering a 510 (standard) and drip tip, to eventually upgrade to a VapeMate. I've looked at the MapTank, Clearo's, and the uberexpensive GGTS+AVS rig. I'm really sold on the eGo 650 Passthrough, and am not convinced that the Joye is going to be any better or worse than the other eGo knockoffs. heck they're probably all made to spec in the same factory. Still, I put some thought into the cignot starter with 2 650 passthroughs, but I like the sealed cone idea, and I think once I get the VapeMate, it will be best on the 1000mAh bat anyway.

I might also look into a feeder system, but i simply hate the box style for some reason. Maybe if they come out with a tubular one, I'd give it a go. Till then, the vapem8 looks cool. Wish I could get the whole setup in brass though.

Anyway, thanks for reading my wall of text. If anyone has juice suppliers to suggest with good variety and consistent flavor, or knows where I can get a brass 650 pass, or acrylic bottle for the vapem8, that would be awesome.

Just got my Inferno-T in, and I couldn't be happier. This is one heck of a step up from the kr808. 808's have a bit of resistance on the draw, causing you to take even slower draws. These new tanks have very little resistance, causing a more carborated draw, which i find harsher than a vaporful draw. It's also going through juice a lot more quickly than I anticipated. In an hour, i've already gone through almost a whole mL of juice. I'm hoping that it's from refilling the resivoir and I'm not vaping that much. On the 808's I was using 1 cart in about 2 days, maybe a little less.

I did get a hint of burn flavor a few minutes ago. I immediate pulled the tank out and was down to about as much juice as the condom is deep. Perhaps that's the culprit for people who are burning out atomizers, vaping a tank all the way down. Immediately topped it off and burning taste is gone. As far as flavor is concerned, using the pineapple punch premium and loving it. I'm eager to try some other flavors too.

As far as the unit is concerned, I really love the style of the eGo battery and cone. Holding it is like holding an expensive pen. I've only used the 650 so far, the 1000mAh is still on the charge, but it's nice and heavy. The whistle tip is also a nice addition. I think the 650 is just about fully charged though. I've only used it in passthru mode. Will be nice to take it off and get around the house and do some stuff.

There are some negatives that I really think could be improved. The band around the center is recessed, with a little Inferno branding text that appears to be acid etched. Could be screen printed, but i've never seen that on a rounded surface before. Cap also has a small flame graphic on it. The recession feels a little cheap, and would look better if it were flush. The button also looks cheap, but as far as feel, albeit looses, doesn't seem like it's going to fall out. It also has good feed back, so you know whether or not it is depressed. Again, a major improvement versus the kr808. The graphics look rushed and are not incredibly flashy. I have a feeling I'll be decorating my unit soon.

Finally the vendor. One of the things I always liked about V4L was that they always include some extra shwag with an order. It's a great business move, and will keep me comming back again and again for my juices. Volcanoecigs.com did not even include a business card. I also asked for a standard 510 atomizer for my drip tip in the comments section of my order, explained that I could only find the low res version on their site, and asked them to append it to my order and I would be happy to pay. No note, letter, or email saying why they didn't include it, but it was not there. This leads me to believe that they don't even read the comments. Still delivery was quick. Standard shipping is free. I opted for the 2 day, and it was here.

One more thing while I have your attention. The pouch that they send with the inferno is too small to put the fully assembled 650 in with the tank still installed, let alone the 1000. I'll be buying a case soon. While it does work for carrying a spare bat and carts around, it seems like a bit of an oversight by volcano that could be easily remedied.

That's all for now, I suppose.
