My name is Daniel and, as my username would suggest, my device of choice is the iTaste MVP V2.
The first store I went too was a Tobacco Market, most of what they sell is tobacco related things, but, they also have a very small section for vaping.
I bought an ego starter and 2 15mL bottle of e-juice. Before I did so, I asked the woman what her favorite juice flavor was and she told me that she didn't vape, in fact, she hated the first time she tried it. Thank the lord I still bought the ego and juice. Never went back there, needless to say.. I then moved up to an evod and then an iTaste and haven't looked back. My all time favorite e-juice is called django. It's made at the local shop as is a delicious mix of peach and mango. 80/20 vg-pg ratio. Love it. Any way, hello everyone!

I'm still kind of new to vaping. I tried it about 2 years ago. Bought a Tobacco Friendly (Smoker Friendly) cig-a-like for over 60 bucks and hated it. What a surprise, lol. My iTaste cost less than that piece of crap. Anyway, I've smoked for over 4 years, tried vaping, and it didn't work. But about two months ago I bought the ego and oh sweet baby jesus I fell in love. Haven't smoked since. I guess my point here is, are there things I should know? I use, like I said, an iTaste mvp v2 with an aspire mini glass tank and a curved drip tip to make it look like a torch. It's my own little awesomeness. But, should I move to something new? I'm all ears!:2cool:

Welcome aboard Daniel!

Lol - that store you bought from. If you can't make a resounding product endorsement other than "hate it" the least you could do is lie a little.

Short term, if what you have is working fine for you there is no need to hurry into the next purchase. A lot of folks on here - new to vaping and very experienced as well - fall victim to Gear Acquisition $yndrome. Things can get really expensive if you don't reign it in.

Most important thing maybe? If you want to shop on line and get good pricing you need to stay well ahead of your disposables and consumables. Don't let yourself get caught short. Make sure you have spare coils!

Speaking of: You need to follow this thread on ECF => http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/pay-forward-pif/418767-deals-steals.html That is where the members post deals and sales we become aware of. To use it head to the last page and read backward until you see old/stale dated sales.

Yeah, my response was along the lines of "Why advertise that you are a vape friendly store if all you can say is you hate it?" I didn't say that of course, I just gave them a few stars short of a 0 review on google.

Luckily there are roughly three B&M shops really close to me. Roughly ranging 1 to 10 miles away. My luck of course, the best one is the farthest away but I always buy a 5 pack of coils when I'm in the area. There was only one time I ran out and I bought more before the one I was using burnt out. I've been considering going into rda's but I really want to stay away from the mods that use external batteries. Just what I prefer, because even with as mush electrical work I do, I still would be the one guy to have the mod blow up in my mouth. The reason I haven't bought an RDA is because from what I've seen, people don't use rda's with an iTaste.

You can. A favorite of a lot of people seem to be the variations of a KayFun on an MVP. You just have to respect the limits of the MVP - which won't allow you to fire coil builds much below 1.3 ohms. In that respect you have much less potential for "blow up in mouth" because an electronic APV like the MVP won't fire a shorted coil or one that is beyond it's 15 watt limit. It's actually a safer place to begin when it comes to starting with rebuildables.

Welcome to the forum. I use the MVP 2.0 and love it. I've thought of moving on to rebuildables but I'm not sure if rebuilding coils, etc is my thing. So I'd say it's up to you on whether you want to move up. For me, moving up is making my own juices and experimenting with that. Now I will try different tanks and I have a load of those. I'm very happy with the MVP and can't wait for the 3.0 to come out.

Hi Daniel and welcome! !!! You made a great purchase with your mvp. IMO its the perfect device for starting out. I have five devices and I still use my mvp daily when I'm working. Its also a very useful tool if you're wanting to venture into rdas because of its safeties. I use an igo-w which I bought for less than fifteen dollars for dripping and a kayfun clone tank on mvp and both are awesome and really easy to build on. The options are endless and you can spend as little or as much as you want on equipment, but you have a solid set up. If you havent done so already, you may want to check out some of the well known juice makers. I only have two shops close to me that sell juice and the quality isnt anywhere close to what I can order from the juice suppliers here on ECF

Hello, Daniel . . . Welcome to the ECF boards.

If your current daily vaping routine is successful in keeping you smoke free, there is really no reason to look beyond that.

Having stated the above . . . I am always looking for a better vaping experience. For many, Vaping has turned into a full blown hobby.

Although, it can be quite expensive, I spend no more monies than I had spent on the old life sucking nails.
