Hello ECF community!

I'm just new in this forum and in the DIY e-juice world and I'd like to ask you a big help to make a very sweet & tasty Lychee Milkshake E-juice.
I've looked for any thread or post about this, but nothing came up.

I'm not good ATM balancing the flavours looking at my experiments, so I thought to ask some experts here as there are people doing very good recipes.:-xo_O

With me, I've got the following flavours I think could be helpful:
  • CAP Sweet Lychee
  • FA Meringue
  • FA Fresh Cream
  • CAP Vanilla Custard V2
  • FA Custard
  • FA Cookie
  • FA Caramel
  • CAP Waffle
  • TFA Sweetener
  • FA MTS Wizard
My first idea for this recipe is the following, but before make it I'd like to listen to some good milkshake flavourists.
  • 5% - CAP Sweet Lychee
  • 5% - FA Fresh Cream
  • 3% - FA Meringue
  • 3% - CAP Vanilla Custard V2
  • 2% - FA Custard
  • 2% - TFA Sweetener
:nun: Any help will be really appreciated!

I can't speak to your specific recipie, but for balancing flavors, I usually shoot for a "primary" flavor (or two) that I use in larger amounts in comparison to flavors I want to "build" around it. So if you are looking for a "lychee" milkshake I would use a primary of Lychee and whatever you think might make a good milkshake flavor (there's actually a condensed milk flavor that, to me, provides a "milkshak-y" touch but if too high a percentage it woudl take over your mix. Maybe Lychee and sweet cream may be your primary flavors, with the rest 'surrounding" it at varying percentages.

As far as sweetener as well, you've got a fair bit of sweetness in your juices already, so I would use any sweetener more sparingly. Sucralose doesn't need to steep, so if it feels too low, you can add some and shake and vape, without many problems.

Sorry to not be more specific, I just thought sharing some methods I use to "balance out" my flavors might be useful, but I think in the right proprtions, your mix idea could turn out well. It may be a bit heavy on the custard, so if you use two custards, I might use them a bit sparingly and etc.

Best of luck, it's really normal to have "great" experiments and "failed" experiments, but mainly, wirte everything down as you go. I've saved many a "failed" mix by doing that. To much flavor? Okay, what type of flavor am I tasting too much of? Can I add more flavor with a bit of dilutionn and added nic, etc. It can be fun to try and "fix" a failed mix, if it's a failure, one has nothign to lose and etc.

I'm also going to say that your mix will require some steeping. It's rather heavy on ingredients that really require steeping to fully bloom, I think. That was one of the hardest parts in the beginning, but I'm glad I learned to do it.

Best of luck, hopefully someone with more specific advice can come along. I love Lychee and I think it would make a great "milkshake" mix.

Hello Anna, thank you for your post!
You plenty enlighted what my issues are... and stepping is a big pain if you still don't achieve a good recipe that is going to work for sure!!!
ATM, I've only 1 recipe that I'm continuously vaping and also steeping and I need at least another one to not get bored.
I'm going to try your method to mix flavours, it's a good way to start with. Maybe after adding the Lychee Milkshake to steep in the cellar, I'll be able to be more patient trying new experiments:danger: but for now, I find myself with 30 flavour concentrates making embarrassing e-juice :tumble:

BTW, let's see if somebody else got a good experience on milkshakes and want to share its secrets!
