Hey everyone. I'm Ryan, I'm stoked to be a part of this forum. A couple weeks ago I quit smoking and turned to vaping. I got a buck naked express starter kit and recently a halo triton. I'm showing more interest in the more advanced options out there. Any advice? I've looked into a Megatron and some of the ProVari's yet like I mentioned earlier I'm still new to these things lol

Hi Ryan! I'm new here and new to vaping, as well. But I can already tell I'm hooked :). Welcome!

Hello and Welcome Elit and Julie! We're glad to have you with us here at ECF. If you have any questions please feel free to ask them. As for more advanced equipment Paul has hit on some of the more popular one's discussed here. They are the most commonly referred mods for people starting out. I have them and love them and don't regret purchasing a single one. If money is an issue I'd recommend the MVP2, unless you can find the VTR for a good price. The VTR does come with a 19mm tank restriction due to the cage it has unless you modify it by removing it. Most people think they wouldn't like box mods, I was one, but once you get it and try it for a bit it grows on you quickly. They are really nice. The VTR will require you to buy extras like a good battery charger and 18650 batteries whereas the MVP2 has a 2600mAh internal battery that lasts for days but is considered a disposable. Once it goes out you toss it. Mine has lasted nearly 11 months to date, still going strong. The price is affordable and I've already gotten my moneys worth out of it. The Provari is a nice investment if you have the funds. It too will require a battery charger and external batteries. Good Luck and Happy Vaping! :vapor:

Hi Ryan and welcome to the forum . This forum is so full of information and the people are very friendly so read, read, read and you will find your answers. I have Nemisis, Chi You and two Provari's . Each one functions great but I must say I use my Provari's everyday with out fail. However with that said they are an investment and maybe play around with vaping and see what will be the best for you. Good luck and have fun.

Hello and welcome to the ECF! There is a lot of nice equipment available to you. Like jensy said.. read, and read some more. The MVP2 is a nice device and so are the Sigelei's at an affordable price point. The Provari is an excellent device that will last year's, and fully supported by Provape. I have all I've mentioned and all have worked flawlessly. Good luck and take your time, you'll find a nice piece of equipment to enjoy.

Thanks for the warm welcomes and everyone's input. One of the main reasons I chose this forum lol. I've heard of the MVP2 but don't know much about them or any other than what I have haha. The main problem is a lot of the prices even though I'm sure I'll save in the end
Lol That's how they get you! If you're anything like me, you start because you wanna save money, then it becomes a hobby and you do things like purchase a $250 mod because it is the cutting edge of vaping :p Don't let that deter you, though. This is a great hobby to have

<< Newbie. Thirty days and no analogs :0) Have a couple of different setups (nothing too fancy - first was a Volcano Inferno before I realized I have a B&M right around the corner from my house) 2nd is an eGo Twist with a bunch of spare tanks. I think I'm spending more on vaping than I did on analogs, but boy, I do feel better.... Wandered onto this site a week or so ago and decided it was time to stop lurking.
