First post here, my name is Duane. Been vaping for a week and a half now and not going back. I got off a 2-1/2 pack a day habit and this has been the easiest transition yet for me in my battle I went with the Inferno, then grabbed a Lava Tube after a few days. I'm vaping 70/30 at 8mg and 16mg and still trying different flavors. I've already learned a bunch here and figured I'd join and get the full experience.

They got me for about the cost of two packs of cigs Oh well, live and learn...I found a dealer on the site here and ordered the real deal which should arrive tomorrow...

Hi Duane, John here, this is pretty much my first post as well and only 2 weeks into vaping, coming off 15 years of smoking a pack a day. I feel like I still havent got out of the experimental stage either, flavors are my weakness. Anyway, Welcome!

I'm beginning to suspect I had a similar experience, a place called AN Tobacco in Greensboro. He sold me standard ego 650mah battery with a ce4 clearomizer branded as Uno Vapor and charged me I think $16 for that. Once I saw ce5s online for $5 it made me wonder. Either way, now I know better than to pay that kind of price!

Part of the learning curve I would guess. My vape store that I trust is about a 35 minute ride each way, tried the local tobacco shop just to see if I could get stuff in a pinch...( not so much )...since then I have stocked up and done a ton of reading the forum.

Congrats on your vaping journey! I too was a 1-1 1/2 pack a day person for little over 10 years! I've tried all the traditional methods of quitting, patches, gum, losenge... nothing would really do the trick because I "really" didnt want to quit, I enjoyed smoking but I knew I needed to stop for my health and family. Vaping has been a god send for me and alot of others! I have fully been off analogs almost 3 months, on the 26th of this month I'll beat 3 months totally off analogs and I feel great and I don't ever want to smoke again! I tell people that vaping almost feels like "cheating" or too good to be true, as in I still get to keep my "habit" and have dropped alot of the harmful side effects that go with analogs. Now my "habit" has also become a "hobby" because now Im all into DIY juices, and making lanyards and stuff for my e-cigs. So good luck & I hope you get "hooked" on vaping, lol and you really enjoy your vaping experience and make it a part of your life!
