Hello to everyone here. As I have been a lurker on this site gleaning as much info as I could by reading posts, I finally decided to register and be allowed to ask questions.

A bit about me I started Vapeing in late January of this year after about 3 months of learning as much as I could about e-cigs.
I started with 650 mah egos and then added an evic and twists.

Next I am planning to get a vamo V2 (as I guess I got spoiled to vari-watts)

As for questions, At the moment I really only have one; Any one have a good recommendation for a delivery system that is long lasting, good throat hit (not harsh) and good flavor?
Also would need to stand up to long periods of chain vapping.

Sofar I have tried Vivi Nova (and vivi type tanks) DCT, Large smok cartos and Kanger MT3 all seemed to gunk up or perform sub par for me

So I have been dripping pretty much continuously for the past 3 months
and have 2 rebuild able drippers in the mail as we speak

Thanks again for all the info and insights

Hi talon2525. Welcome to ECF. Gunking is more a problem with some juices than others, and if you're getting it with all those you've tried, it will probably be the case with everything. As said above, focus on what's easy to clean and dry burn. In most cases, warm water will do, but some rot gut (cheap) vodka is sometimes better.

agreed Vodka as a cleaner has the added bonus off helping to ease some of the stress of burning yer last atty lol
seriously tho been vaping juice from Mom and Pops as their juice comes highly recommended and only honey color (5-layler vanilla cream and french vanilla)
trying to avoid the darker juices and yes it seems to have helped a bit

Hi, from another new poster. I just started vaping (full-time) in late June. I'm still using my eGo-C batteries, but now I've added a couple Anyvape Davide (glass tank) BCC clearomizers. They hold up to ~3ml of juice, so one should last all day! I've not had any problem so far with gunking up, but I have noticed a change in the flavors I've been using. Maybe it's because I get so much more in a hit! I think they are supposed to be a lot like the Kanger Protank, just a couple dollars cheaper.

I just read your quote of my post and boy, was I nebulous! Hope you understood I meant if the juice you're using gunks up all the delivery devices you've tried, it will likely gunk up any delivery device. Sorry... caffeine low-level light still on this morning. :)

Cotton (from rolls, balls, etc) is a great wick for flavor in micro coils in RDAs, but you remove and trash it, dry burn, then replace it. You can't dry burn it. Silica and ekowool can be dry burned, but eventually they need to be replaced as well. Wrapping a coil around a form rather than the wick makes it easier to replace the wick without destroying a coil in the process. Just make sure you get good wire to wick contact.

Yea I was talking about tanks and such. What has been your average life span of attys Hoofhearted62?

And @albertbbert I have been looking at a Genisis type tank how does the screen wyck work and is it better in terms of staying less gunked?

It doesn't really gunk up any less, but you can just take your torch to it and burn it clean. Just have to be careful to stay away any insulators or anything that might burn or melt. You can do it with ekowool too, which might better for you, i've never really liked ss mesh wicks. What low profile recommended with the cotton and micro coils should work great too, something you should definitely try when your RDA's come in.
