Hey ECF members. Im new to the forum but am having fun learning and helping people out. A little about myself. I WAS a smoker of almost 9 years. Im 25. you can do the math. Then a friend introduced me to vaping. I was very skeptical about it like I'm sure everyone is when they first see someone doing it. So after doing some research I took the dive. I bought a SVD vv/vw mod which came with 2 iClear 30s's(decent). Also picked up a Kanger pro tank 3(waste of money). Used that for about 3 weeks and sold it cause a friend wanted to quit smoking. I then ordered a Nemesis mod from Atmomixani and a Kraken from Vicious Ant. I love the set up and have been building and trying different juices. Later picked up a 3D dripper from Atmomixani which I don't really care for, too hard to build for me. So it just sits in a baggie. But I do love rda's now over genesis style atomizers. Anyways I just wanted to say "whats up".

Welcome to ECF!!! :toast: Just wanted to make sure you are using the proper batteries for your Nemesis. You should be only using IMR batteries and checking your ohms and calculating the amps drawn by your build to make sure it's within your battery's limits. If you're using the same type of batteries that you used in your SVD it can definitely be a problem if they are protected batteries and non IMR types.

Tayone415 thank you for looking out for me. The batteries i use are sony VTC4's until i buy more ill get the VTC5's. Ill never use anything other than a sony until something better comes out. I use them even if I'm above 1 ohm.

The VTC4s are still good batteries and even though they have less mah than the VTC5 they give a more consistent vape with less drop off. Just make sure you regularly check to make sure your batteries are taking and holding a charge. Make sure you have a good smart battery charger too.

Also watch out for Sony knock offs. The VTC4 and VTC5 should have the same design except for the labeling of the model.

How to spot a fake Sony VTC5 battery

Didn't know that about the VTC5's. I might just stick with the 4's. For charger I use an intellecharger i4. Might not be the best charger but its better than the trust fire i started off with. Thank you again

No problem, just making sure since a lot of people get bad information even from B&Ms and pick up bad gear. But, it seems like you have the right batteries and charger and you are at a safe ohm build above 1 ohm.

I didn't expect this place to be so friendly....Very mature people on here i guess

Many members are, for the most part most people are friendly and helpful or at least try to. But, like anywhere else there's always going to be those people, that you wish you could reach through your monitor and smack. Luckily it's really not that bad here.

Honestly i have my Kraken built at .7 with dual micro coils. Not too taxing on the batteries. Lowest ill ever go will probably be .4 or .5 when i get my hand on either a plume veil or a toby v2

Still in the safe range for a VTC4, just make sure you have something to randomly test your batteries with. Your Nitecore charger should charge your batteries up 4.2 v +/_ 0.05 volts.

What would you suggest to test the batteries with? Multimeter?

If you can get a good one that won't break the bank, it should read to the third digit, if not get one that does. There are also 510 threaded voltage readers, some are good and others are not the best. But, a multi meter would be the most accurate, but isn't as easy to use for testing on the go.
