Hi my name is Bill and i am new to the community and vapeing in general. I have only been vaping for about 4 days now. I was a 12 year smoker watching friends and family develop copd, emphysema, and die from lung cancer. I tried to quit with everything out there patches, gum, pills, even blu ecigs. Nothing worked. That is when i found mech mods and rdas. Being the electronics hobbyist I am i decided to get a mech mod and rda and give it a shot. I am now 3 days cancer stick free vapeing 6mg juice. I am already starting to feel more energized and breathing gets easier by the day. Just the smell of cigs is making me gag. Sure i get cravings it is still early but i no longer run to the store instead i vape. I feel so proud of this change in my life and i can finally say I am smoke free. It is a pleasure to find a community which I can associate with whom are like myself.

I was a 13 year smoker and I tried everything and though I would smoke forever until I started vaping and changed my life.

There are folks on the forum who had 30+ year smoking habits and they kicked to thanks to vaping and ECF.

I have a magma clone and a gus lord clone. Gives amazing flavor and nice clouds. Running a .8 ohm single micro coil 24 awg 12 wraps at 1/16 drill bit. I really love it i think the combination gives a nice flavor with smooth straight to lung hit. I think this is what has been making it so easy to quit. Plus it gives me the ability to tinker and experiment making it super enjoyable instead of a nasty unpreakable habit. I am quickly finding myself a flavor chaser.

Thanks everyone just broke the 1 week mark and still vapeing strong. I feel so much better. It is amazing how much better I am sleeping and how much more relaxed I am. Not to mention the dark rings under my eyes from years of bad sleep are starting to go away. Really feeling like a new man.

Welcome to the forum! I like that there are a lot of choices. I am not a mechanical or rebuild person but I don't have to be. I did have the cravings for a few days. Then it got better. I haven't gone back since February and I feel a lot better.
