Congratulations.
I smoked from 14 to my early 40s.
Its great to see us long time smokers move on to vaping.
After 3 years I can tell you my lungs and breathing have drastically improved.
(Dr. Verified) stick with it.
Very glad you are here with us!

Congratulations! I can definitely tell my lungs are starting to heal. Not quite ready for a jog just yet but I'll get there. 3 years and drastically better lungs.. I'll take it! Thanks for your kind words.. very encouraging :)

Missouri...or the state of Misery.
I tell ya I tried pretty much everything but the meds the doctor suggested, but I don't like taking meds if I don't have to. Needless to say, my wife and family are very happy. That's all I care about! Congrats to you as well! It's definitely not easy :)

Super congrats on making the step! Like you, I had tried everything...including the meds, which just made me tired and cranky all the time, and upset my stomach....not good at all. My girls love it that I no longer smell like an ashtray, and my 17 year old is actually now my "official sniffer"...she says it's her job to smell the vapor to make sure it doesn't stink lol!

I hope you have lots of success with the change-over

Exactly! We are living proof that those theories are so not true. I personally know at least 6 of my friends and family who vaped for the first time and never smoked a death stick again! I encourage everyone to step forward and stand up for something that literally is saving our lives! Congrats to you and I appreciate your kind words :)

I've managed to be the catalyst to help convert at least 8 of my family/friends over the last 9 months since I started vaping (most of them heavy long time smokers)...they would be intrigued by the smell of the vapor I was using at the time and start asking questions about it. I've gotten to where I have several different strengths of vapor and a couple of cheap set ups on hand so they can try it out without it costing them anything. So far every single one of them has taken off with it and never picked up the nasties again...in fact most of em can't stand the smell of death stick smoke anymore.

I love being able to tell smokers that vaping has saved my life and getting them to try it!

It's so nice to hear that your girls are thrilled about you making such a huge change in your life! Unless you've been a smoker, it's hard for people to understand the small victories we as ex smokers are proud of. Not smelling like an ashtray is the number 1 comment I get from my family lol. I'm so happy I did my research and found vaping! I never realized how many people are in the exact same boat I'm in. I wish you the best with your family and kicking this nasty habit! No meds for this guy lol.. just vaping!!

The "sniffer" comment was awesome coming from your little girl! That in itself makes everything worth it :) Thank you for your support!

Both of my girls even "recommend" flavors that I try...and now that I'm getting into the DIY, they are inventing recipes for me to try out (some are so far out there that I've put them on the shelf and hopefully they will never see the light of day lol)....now if they could just figure out how to clone my favorite vape....
