Hi Members of ECF,

I quit smoking in August last year and have not smoked a single cigarette from that poin on.
Tried e-cigarettes before that (a cheap pen type) but returned to smoking, since these devices weren`t really good (not much vape, liquid getting into the mouth, etc...).
Then I bought a EVOD rechargable battery and an evod2 vapor.
That did the trick, being able to quit smoking.
From that point on I bought a Vamo V6 and Aeortank Mega, which I used happily quite a while until I lost them...
Now I have a Cloupor GT and a Subtank Mini and a Origen V2 MKII.
I mix my own liquid and just started doing my own coils.

Greetings and happy vaping from germany ;-)

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Here is a picture of my first made coils (pseudo double quad coils) made with Kantal A1 0,4mm. In this dual setup about 0,4 Ohms.
I still need to train to get the wires within the coils to be a bit more straight, so that the align a little bit better.

At 50 Watts lots of vape and nice taste ;-)

I might try them again made of titan and look how temperature control will perform.

So far I like it.
Bit on the downside is that:
1.) the cap which you place above the coils (which holds the drip tip) does not sit very tight, so it can rotate the airholes away from the coils (but I don´t think that is a real problem, just something what will happen in the beginning when playing around with the vapor)
2.) The filling requires an injection. It has a knurled screw so opening and closing is ok, but being used to vapors where you can just pour the liquids its still a bit inconvenient.

But I don´t have really much comparment to other devices of selfmade coils.
