Hi everyone,
I have been vaping for about a month or so and have an ego t, i have a few questions for experienced vapers with this type of e cigarette, i have burnt out 2 atomisers over a month and i am not very sure why they went so quick.

I would like to ask what the main problems are that you face with the ego t and also how long roughly do the batterys last as this is my main concern.

Thanks

Hi there and welcome to ECF!

I also have an ego t, have had it for about 4 months and I am still using the original batteries. Its always good to have some back-ups, but I personally only have the two originals. As far as the atty's, I had similar problems with mine in the begining i suggest you buy some Boge 2.0 cartomizers and use them instead, they are much better and easier to use then the attys and they bring out more flavor from the juices IMO.

Main problem was the tank leaking issues. Most suggest using the soft caps instead of hard caps in the tanks. I was doing 1ml/day on the eGo-T and the atomizer lasted me a long long time. I cleaned it once a week(took apart the atomizer, burned the wick, etc...). The batteries(650mah) lasted me a whole day vaping 1ml a day. There are lots of threads/information on ECF on how to clean the eGo-T atomizer. I would suggest you do a search and try to clean them. First time is a little scary but after you get the hang of it, its pretty easy.
Since you have the eGo-T, you could also just pick up the eGo-C cone and base with the 5pack atomizer from numerous vendors. I find cleaning the eGo-C atomizer to be more hassle free. In the long run, you would also end up saving more money.
Another route you can go if you dont want the hassle of cleaning atomizers is the use of cartomizers. Lots of different ones to choose from. I would personally recommend the Boge LR cartos. They work great with the eGo-T batteries. I saw new stuff like the stardust, vision stones and so on. Lots of other routes you can take, just your preference.
Forgot to add, most agree that battery mah will tell you how long those batteries are supposed to last. For example, 650mah batteries should last about 6.5 hrs. I dont know how accurate this is but lots of people swear by them.
In the end, don't get discouraged, keep it simple, and take it one step/day at a time. Most of all, enjoy "Vaping"! Good luck in your vaping journey!
