Hello everyone! I'm fastonfour, and I'm ready to dive into the world of vaping!

Hi all! I just joined ECF today, and I can't wait to become an active member of this community!
I am a sophomore in college, living in Long Island, NY. I have been smoking for a few months, almost a half a pack a day, every day (sometimes even more than that). I hate basically everything about it. So I've done some research and found that vaping would be something that I would enjoy very much! I do not have my own set up as of yet, but I've been puffing on those Logic e-cigs that you pick up at gas stations and stuff for about a week, and it's seriously been a great help. I've cut down on smoking substantially since I've been using these. I'm ready for the next step now: to buy a decent rig, get myself some juice, and start vaping for real! I've just been testing the waters as of now, but I'm looking forward to sharing my experiences with you guys as I dive deeper into vaping. I'm sure that this forum will help me on my journey. You all seem like kind and helpful people and I hope to speak to more of you guys soon! Thank you for the warm welcome, ECF!

My current plan of action is as follows:

A kit like this. A simple variable voltage battery, (for control and ease-of-use) and the pyrex Protanks (so I can put any sort of juice in it without worrying about cracking plastic).

Either this, or some Ego Twists and other pyrex tanks (however, I assume that Protanks are compatible with Ego batteries.)

Gonna probably get juice from an online retailer, but I have no idea where to look. Mt Baker seems to be a viable place for cheap yet high quality juice online, so that's where I'm looking first.

If you have any other ideas on how I can get started, please leave a reply!!

Thanks for the quick reply, guys!

I am a man of simplicity, and want things that are durable and powerful, and that will, well, just work.

However, I am also a man without much currency, so something on the cheaper side would be nice. Not sure if i'd be ready to get something humungous, or anything that requires much tinkering.

So basically, a standard size battery, a kit that I can do pretty much anything with, but not something that will break the bank or confuse me, lol.

Welcome.

I think your choice in vaporizer and tank are perfectly good.

As for juice, there are so many and you may want to try them all. :) It depends on the flavor you decide to stick with. Some people prefer to stick to tobacco flavors while others decide to vape fruit flavors. I tried hundreds of flavors and decided I liked tobaccos the best. My wife went on to vape nothing but pink champagne flavor.

Some vendors sell sampler packs so you can determine your favorite genre of juice.

My heartfelt recommendation for juices is avejuice.com Buy online early in the morning (opens up at 8:00am Central, I believe) because they close the site after 300 orders are met for the day. Bobas Bounty, Gorilla juice and any of their fruits are the best by far.

Again, welcome.

Welcome to the fruitful and satisfying world of vaping. I can't get enough and I'm quite addicted, but at least I'm not killing myself with analogs!
