So, I've been lurking unregistered for some time now and figured I would go ahead and sort of introduce myself and relay my journey thus far. I apologize for the length of this.

Decided to try vaping back in November with Metro e-cigs (RN4081) that are commonly available in convenience stores around here. Those were ok for a while, I was still smoking analogs frequently with them, and so I wanted a more satisfying vape to help me quit.

So next I got an Ego V6 because it seemed an inexpensive VV device and the kit came with a 2nd set of batteries. This also included my first tank setup (2 vivi novas.. probably clones) Which I felt I had nothing but problems with (flooding mostly), and I continued to have issues with any type of tank (I tried several.. ce4s, ce5s, bottom coil tanks) so I'd basically given up on tanks and was mostly ordering Mega Cartos. Next came 2 regular Ego 650mah batteries because my V6 seemed to run too hot for the attys I was using at the time. I also had dropped it early on and kept having to fix it, it kept coming apart and at one point came apart in my pocket and began to short out resulting in both batteries getting extremely hot and melting half the plastic off of one them.

Came to realize that a lot of my problem with tanks was that I was drawing too hard on them, but by this point I'd decided that with the cartos lasting me only about a week before producing too little vapor. I decided I needed to find to way to make this habit cheaper and so I got my first RBA about a month ago (Rocket Kayfun clone) from a local shop and started using cotton wicks. Failed miserably at my first coil attempt, but still managed to salvage it to about a 1.9ohm coil, and kept that going about a week, with which I still was having serious flooding issues regardless of the setting of the air inlet and 3 or 4 build attempts later. Also at this point the Ego batteries weren't being all that satisfying anymore either. Because of my seemingly hopeless case of tank issues, decided to try and see if there were rebuildable cartos and learned about the Spheroid and Taifun GS here.

So last week I ordered and am now vaping on a Kamry K101 with a Crown 2.0 (wanted the options of VV/VW as well as the additional safety provided and more important to me is a consistent vape). Also I figured that if I decided I wanted to get into sub-ohm coils, that I would have that option as well. I always like to have as much versatility as possible when I buy things.

For attys, well I had given up on getting a tank to not leak/flood and had actually switched my rocket to a dripper setup until I watched a Pbusardo review of the Kayfun and skeptically I decided to give it one last try the way he showed to do it. To my surprise, it doesn't leak or flood any more. I had also ordered a Taifun GS clone at the same time, which came with a pre-built coil and wick which I haven't changed yet.

Also just began DIY juices.

So that's basically it, am rather happy with my two RBAs, always learning something new with this particular setup, such as same wattage doesn't mean same vape experience. Currently the rocket is set up with 1.9ohm 28ga Kanthal and the GS is about 2.9ohm looks to be about 32, and with that the rocket can take the full 10watts the crown can output and be a nice vape while the GS starts to taste a bit burnt after about 8watts.

In any case, am proud to say I have only smoked 1 analog in the last month, and quite frankly, it tasted horrible. My non-smoking non-vaping fiancee is certainly happier about the not smoking any more part, but perhaps not quite so much on the spending money on more and more stuff part.

Guys here are very helpful abd friendly and we will do our best to help out.

I ordered a kanger unitank and it came yesterday. After using it for a day and half thus far, I csn honestly say I love it, imo. Its got great vapor output and really gives you a nice throat hit running my vv at 4.4v. I get a nice head rush as well with my strawberry (hence the name tag) tjuice.
