Hi all

I'm the new guy.
After lurking around and reading, searching and enjoying ECF as a guest I finally decided to get real and register here. After all it's just a great place to find answers, funny and insightful people and plenty of knowledge about vaping.

I'm 41, turning 42 soon, living in Zurich and I started vaping November last year because of my little daughter. I kept on smoking after her birth (I always had my puffs on the balcony). But then I realized I didn't want to smell like an ashtray any longer when she wanted to sit in my lap or came for cuddles. Thats when a friend of mine introduced me to cigalikes. They didn't really do the trick but I was hooked by the idea to get of the cigs with an e-cigarette. After trying several cigalikes and minis I finally settled with the evod 2 and since then I have never touched a cigarette again... Now of course I had plenty to spend and that's what I did, buying several box mods, tanks and stuff.
I tried building rbas and rdas but realized soon enough that is not my thing. I like the convenience of premade coils and vape around with several nautilus (mini + regular), a subtank mini, GS Air and GS Tanks and (my pride) 2 kabuki tanks.

happy to be here
cheers

thanks for the welcome guys.

for me the Kabuki is a big improvement flavorwise. To compare them I tried some more complex flavors like the new NJoy Artist Collection and other "premium" juices and compared flavors with the Nautilus and Kabuki and imho the Kabuki brings out more of the flavor nuances while with the Nautilus the flavor came away a little muted.
Maybe if you just vape a "straight" juice like pineapple or menthol the difference might not be much in flavor. But for everything else the Kabuki is -for me- the better alternative.

what I like a lot with the kabuki is the build quality. very easy to take apart and clean (just always keep them O-rings lubricated or you'll rip of your fingertips when trying to get it open). No more airflow ring that moves when you carry the gear around in your pocket.

also I noticed that with the kabuki I vape with lower wattages for the sweet spot, between 9-10w while with the nauti I'm alway around 12w.

one last thing, something that I found peculiar: with the Nautilus I noticed only little difference when using different drip tips. with the kabuki the difference is sometimes very noticeable betweend ceramix, POM and ss

Would I recommend it? absolutely!

But then again, I'm a sucker for build quality (that's probably why I will preorder the Provari Radius today, even if I have enough box mods around that have higher specs than the Radius, haha)

While you're at it, how about ordering me one, lol...

Coming with a lifetime warranty is a plus...

That just about seals the deal for me...
