just received my first e-cig in the mail today. its the e-heath(cheap one lol). i got it off ebay for abt 10 dollars plus shipping. anyway it said first charge takes about 5 hours so i let it charge all day while i was at work. wen i got home a couple of hours ago, i popped on one of the 10 carts it came with, took a drag, the led light but......nothing. so i took the cart off and there is liquid getting to the att and everything. then i fig maybe it was a bad cart, tried a another, same results. so then i decided since there was liquid on the att, i'd just take a drag without the cart in place and bingo, crazy vapor. its driving me crazy tho that it wont work with a cart in place. wen i say nothing i mean there is absolutly no vapor wen i pull on the cart. but if i pull directly on the att there's ridiculous vapor. i dont think im supposed to be vaping directly off the att. ive watched about 5 different videos on youtube of ppl with my same e-cig and their's are assembled the same as mine, yet if they pull with the cart in place they actually get vapor. anybody have the same prob or know what im doing wrong?

What are you doing wrong?
Your buying junk.

What many have experienced is gas station finds that are not satisfying if they do work or cheap stuff that when all is said and done, leaves the purchaser with the idea that e-cigs suck.
Not so.
If you get a good 510 unit or a KR808D-1 setup (cig sized), generally when you settle on the """Correct"" nicotine level, flavor, and vapor....as well as a kit that is consistent , you won't believe how well these things work.

Try Wordup e-cigs or a supplier like them and you won't be left messing with e-bay crap. (Google this site up, you won't regret it.)

It is not a good ecig. Amazingly it's not the worst since it is similar to M402 or M403 but cheaper and junkier. And M40x are weak ecigs with cranky tiny carts.

Are these carts with no plug in the open end? if so, then the atomizer poke a hole in some foil on the end of the recessed juice cup. Take one cart and try pushing a paperclip leg in the mouth hole to push up the juice cup. Then remove the foil piece from the juice up, make sure the stuffing is positioned at the top of the juice cup and get the juice cup back down into the mouthpiece without pressing on the stuffing. Now try again.

And if you want to keep trying to use that model then buy some eliquid and some buy precut blue foam stuffing at strictlyejuice.com to cut smaller for your juice cups or pay 10x as much and buy the uncut in Petsmart as Marineland Rite-size U Bonded Foam Sleeve. Then search Youtube for M401 blue foam and cut stuffing similar to that but I recommend about 2/3-3/4 the inner depth of the juice cup and very tiny bit wider to help it stay in place (but no so wide that the hole in the foam are closed up).

Agreed, probably just the cheap PV itself. If you don't want to shell out $50-$60 for a starter kit, you can build a good 510 for pretty cheap by buying the individual parts. I found the parts for one (battery, atomizer, carts, usb charger or ac charger) for $33 on myfreedomsmokes.com ($22.50 with SMOKE coupon code). for about $2 more you can get the jumbo battery, which is supposed to last twice as long. And doing it that way, not only do you get it cheaper, you get to customize it somewhat (pick color for the batt and atomizer, flat or round tip carts, usb or ac charger). So basically, you get a way better PV for only $10-15 more than you spent on the cheap one.

You can find the parts here: 510 Starter Kit Compatible - My Freedom Smokes

You can get a Joye 510 starter kit at Liberty Flights for $35.99 (after you click on the 20% discount in the upper left). Two batteries, two attys, charger, carts, etc. This is pretty much what I started with and it was enough to keep me vaping for a few weeks - long enough to know that this worked for me. LF also has decent juice (their VG cola is one of my favorites, so far).

Although for that price and that vendor, he could get the Riva Lite bundle for $30 - still 510 threaded, but MUCH better batteries.

Since it sounds like it is a 3 piece system (battery, atty and cart), you could always drip until you can get a new one. Just drip a few drops of your liquid directly onto the bridge of the atty. Then, remove the stuffing from the cart and use it as a drip tip. Not ideal, since it is a cheap PV, but might tide you over.

I agree with dormouse. It seems to be a cheap model, and I am sure you didn't order juice with pre-filled carts. I think the best way to get this mod to work is poke a hole in it method stated above. Then, as soon as u can, order a better e-cig. I have ordered two Riva 510 mods, one from Liberty Flights and one from vapor-pure. I haven't received the vapor-pure yet, but the liberty flights is amazing, and with the 20% discount, you can't got wrong. Vapor-pure has a 10% off if u use their code listed on this forum in "new store" area.

thanks for all the suggestions everyone, so basically the best thing to do until i get some thing better is use this one for dripping right? that'll work for me. actually i dont know i did but i just got one of the carts to work, the other one still doesn't. i used a paper clip and pushed the little foil cup all the way out of the mouthpiece then i put it back in but not as far as it was before, and whala now it works. i wish i had just went for a real e cig in the first place tho, this thing is def cheap.

That was my first e cig too. Doesn't work so good but it got me here to start my journey. I went from e health - 510 - 510 mega - Riva - tanks - to mods I have a Buzz, Provari, I won a GLV2 and bought a GLV2 mini which I am waiting on. It has been a great Journey I am completely satisfied with tanks on my mods.

From what I've been able to tell it's a really cheap 401 knock off called an EC502 or V9. Actually the OP didn't get hosed all that bad. The cheapest I've seen them is $6.10 on dealextreme. However, you are calling it right it's definitely "not a good ecig".
