Yep, its a great feeling to finally set your mind to just DO IT! Your taste buds should start coming back to you, but be careful stocking up on too much juice right now. The flavor you love today, you may hate a month from now. I found that with overly sweet flavors. I now search for more slightly sweet, or savoy juices.

Kick Bass Vapor has an awesome selection of juices, and if you have a 510, try dripping with a LR306 atty. Make sure you get a drip tip to go with them.

Thanks! I'm using an old Rn4081 that I've had for a while... a coworker bought it and didn't like it, so she gave it to me... it got me through a week in Disney in May w/ my family, but I went back to analogs as soon as we got home...

I've been getting cartomizers for it at a local SmokeFree mall kiosk, but have started refilling them w/ juice from FSUSA. I really like this one, although I've never tried any other... I just ordered another starter kit from China and I'm hoping it makes it through customs... it should be here any day now... went w/ black cig/blue led so my kids wouldn't think it looked like a cig...

I'm sure I'll eventually upgrade, but for now $ is an issue so trying to keep things relatively cheap...

Thanks again!

Welcome! And congrats on being smoke free for almost a month! Not quite there yet myself (but almost!)
If i may ask: What made you give e-cigs another shot, and why do you think you held out this time around? Do you feel there is still is a risk for falling back on analogs?

Not a chance! I had actually quit cold turkey in 2004 for 3 years, then job stress, etc... got me started again... my wife absolutely hates smoking and the smell, so I promised this time I'd quit... besides, now that I've gotten into the ecig and found cartomizers the whole experience is much better...

I really didn't think the whole cartridge thing wasn't working well, just wasn't getting the vape or the th... but the carts are different...

Although I must admit that I am completely addicted to vaping now... but hey, that's better than my previous addiction... :)

Good luck to you, stick w/ it!

talk about it. My Girlfriend also complained big time, and you know what, they're right. All the stink and ashes, not to mention passive smoking. Not only are you doing yourself a big favor by quitting, but maybe even more importantly you save your loved ones for quite a bit of irritation.

Yes the right e-cig system seems to be paramount. I think i wouldn't have had so much luck in (almost) abandoning analogs if i had one of those dodgy looking mall e-cigs

lol, i can really relate to that one! I think I might even get more addicted to nicotine if i continue vaping that heavily as i do right now. Okay i was a heavy smoker before (40+ cigarettes of ryo flue-cured kentucky tobacco, dark nasty stuff), but i find myself CONSTANTLY puffing on my new e-cig.

That being said, it seems many people on here succeed in decreasing the amount of nicotine in their juice over time in a sort of natural, non forced fashion. As far as i am concerned, for the time being i am happy to be almost (still 2-4 analogs) off the stinkies.

I feel ya there...my husband quit smoking 3 years ago and I have barely gotten a kiss on the cheek since then!
