Just thought I'd introduce myself on the forums! I've been smoking for approximately 9 years. I tried the Greensmoke ecig a few years back, but it didn't work out too well. Now I've got a new ecig and I'm ready to quit for good. This seems like a friendly and helpful community, and I look forward to being a part of it.

Welcome to ecf and congrats on making the decision to quit. Everyone here is very helpful and polite (one of the best web communities I've seen) so do not hesitate to ask any questions or offer any insight you may have. Hanging around here is very helpful during the first month or so. Just mind you don't catch any of the buying bugs too bad. vaping can either be very cost effective or very effective at draining your wallet.

I appreciate the welcoming! I'm looking forward to my wife and I quitting and saving our well-earned money. I may be overlooking the thread, but is there a beginner tutorial for manual Ecigs? I purchased the KGO 1100.

You might try YouTube for any specific tutorial. Probably the only thing you might want to watch is about filling cartos or carts, depending on which you got.

It's basically just a matter of screwing your battery to the atomizer, filling a cart, and pushing it into the atty. Push button and vape.

If you got a starter kit with cartos, it's even easier. Fill carto, screw into battery, and enjoy.

Be sure to watch for any slight burning taste or a lessening of vapor. That means it's time to refill. This is one thing that you do not want to ignore, or put off doing.

Hi Mister Ecks, sounds like I am in the same boat as you, just received my very first starter kit for my wife and I yesterday as well. I read through the beginner tutorial here prior to ordering and then re-read it yesterday, after having received my order and found it to be very helpful. Anyhow, I wish you the best of luck!

Welcome, and as a brand new convertee, I can tell you that I emphasis with the head spinning comment. There's SO much to learn, but when it comes right down to it, even the simple models that are good ones will make you never want another stinky coffin nail again.
