so its nice to join up here with you guys, ive been lurking past few weeks. i noticed the community here is quit nice. i jumped the gun and made my first purchase. Instead of a cheaper beginner level setup. i went with the joyetech evic. coming from android phones and playing with forum roms. i was enchanted by the firmware updatability. so i made the compromise on its hardware limitations, which from what im expecting shouldnt pose a issue for me.

im also quite excited to get my hands into some rba's, specifically the GP SPHEROID!!!

RBA = Rebuildable Atomizer. Basically an atomizer with user replaceable coils. There are several types of RBAs as well: dripping, genesis and others that don't really fit in either category like the Odysseus.

Discount Vapers is a good place to get your feet wet in RBAs (they're cheap, but reliable). I'd recommend starting with something like the Phoenix clone, A7, or IGO-L.

I just realized you're deciding on your first purchase, don't start with an RBA. I'd start with something a bit more basic and less finicky like an Ego twist and Kanger T3. You need something that you don't have to fiddle with while you're still fighting off the cigarettes. Oh and grab a sample pack of juices to get an idea of what you like.

Good advice. That is prety much what I got at first and it was enough to handle. But I am so encouraged and learning. It got me vapeing and I like it much better than regular cigs.

Zerrrro......Thank you for filling me in. Yes, that would be too much to start with. But, I am beginning to see that my first purchase won't be anywhere near my last. I ordered an Inferno from Volcano last night. I'm hoping it will be here by Wed so I can begin my vaping journey away from analogs.

ive started with 2 vivi novas along with my big order, i was hesitant to get the full metal tank versions. as nice as they look i had a feeling id get annoyed not being able to see the liquid levels. anyone by chance hear about any out of the ordinary leaking with the metal tanks especially lately? im curious if those design bugs got ironed out

BTW, HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS!!!
