Cedar Creek Lake in Lincoln Co. Just had a great day at Cumberland last week - 4 lb 7oz smallmouth on a float-n-fly - awesome day!

That's awesome! I love fishing the creeks in the spring time when the female largemouths are HUGE. Can't beat a wacky rigged senko then. Or top water early in the mornings. Night fishing for smallmouth with a spinner bait is cool, too! Hit me up if you come down this way sometime!

I've already found a buyer for some of my gear so looks like I'll be ready to purchase in no time! Don't know if I can wait the two weeks. Haha.

Buying a Reo Grand is the best decision you ever made when it comes to vaping. Only thing you'll regret - is not getting one sooner. :glare:

Love fishing myself, and will be going soon with my Dad. Don't have to worry about getting a Reo Grand wet. If you do, you won't ruin it because it does not have any electronic boards or parts in it. Just make sure to dry it out well (change juice if needed; change batteries; dry components, and etc)... and it'll fire right back up - like brand new.

But I do have a fear of dropping it in DEEP water, and never...ever seeing it again! Can't have that at all, so I'll be using a zipper case to attach to my belt. Chewie will definitely be inside it when I'm not using it. ;)

I bought my Grand "square squeezy bottle thing" on the 15th and was so happy with it, I bought my Mini on the 27th. So I recommend waiting a week or so before you get your second one.

He's right. That's what I did too....waited a whole week before I got my 2nd one, and then a whole month before my 3rd, then....

Two choices you can't go wrong with are the TRA - Tumbled Raw Aluminum and the Hammertone. I have most all of the colors and even though I take care of them they show signs of wear/very light scratches in the surface. The TRA and Hammertone are my work horses and they still look as good as the day I got them.

The feel of a TRA is something that is hard for me to describe but they are silky smooth almost.

You can't make a bad choice really and all of them are nice so good luck choosing.

Welcome to reoville tpriest,

Rattler is correct as usual. I don't have a TRA, but that will be my next metal reo. I have a black wrinkle/copper vein door and an LP/SL hammertone.
If you do get a copper vein, be aware, you will need to clear coat it to preserve its fullness, or else it will start to patina.... (I dont recommend a copper vein as your first reo purchase... just because its painfull waiting for it to dry, unless if you have another reo to use in the meantime)...

Also, the SL is great! A bit lighter than the just an LP. You could always just pickup an extra SL door, before committing to full SL....

Congrats on taking the plunge.
