Cheers ECF. After some serious lurking on the forum, I've decided to introduce myself.
I'm 31 and have been a pack a day smoker for 13 years. After passing by an e cig kiosk in a local mall, I decided to come home and do some research. Like most noobs, I wanted a starter kit that looked like a cigarette. In a haste, I ordered a starter kit from Green Smoke as the reviews looked very promising. While waiting for my new kit, I purchased a 21st Century disposable e cig from the gas station. It tasted awful and vapor production was weak. After doing some more research, I stumbled across this site and saw the err of my ways. It became apparent that the Green Smoke kit was a rip off, and there were clearly better options.
A day later my Green Smoke kit arrived and I already knew it would be returned. To be fair, it blew away the 21st century e cig in terms of flavor and vapor production. Nonetheless, the steep price and lack of customization quickly turned me off and so I began the search for another starter kit.
A day later I ordered my eGo starter kit from The Vapor Room along with a sample pack of juices. It arrived and whoa- now this is vaping!!! Since that first "toot" off the eGo I've come to realize quitting the analogs isn't just a pipe dream, it's a reality.
I'm now down to 2 analogs a day and plan on losing them all together soon enough. Lurking this forum has provided endless information, advice, and inspiration. Thank you ECF and I look forward to getting to know you.
