Hi guys!

I've been stumbling around the internet today, and luckily somewhere I saw a google ad for an e-cig sales website. I'd never even heard of this before, so I did some googling and came across this site. Been poking around here for an hour or so, and I just want to say that you guys do a great job at presenting information, whether factual or opinion, and it's made for some good reading.

I've been trying to quit smoking (1-1.5/day) off and on for about two years. These vapo's are of particular interest due to the reduction of tar, CO2, etc.

Anyways, my biggest question for you all is what you would recommend brand-wise for me. I plan to start out with high nic cartridges and graduate down. I'm a full time student supporting myself, so I don't have a ton of money to throw into this thing - durability and longevity in the item, assuming proper care and maintenance, are of particular interest to me.

I'll continue reading here, and will have my eyes on this thread, too :D Thanks in advance for any information and suggestion ya'll can offer!

Hi Justin, welcome to the forum.

Personally I don't think you can do better than start off with a classic/penstyle or a DSE901. You need to check reviews and recommendations for good places to buy, pay more attention to established members. Warranties are worth money, parts need replacing frequently.

With nicotine dose I suggest that you start low and go up if necessary, that way you're not risking overdose, raising tolerance or dependence. Try some low and get some high so you can have a couple of drops for a spike at times when you have cravings. If you vape high all the time you'll just get used to it and you'll need more for the same effect.

This is a good thread to learn about vaporisers - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ed-comprehensive-intro-vaping.html#post138671
