I'm new to this site and "e-cigarettes". I've smoked since I was 11 and at 42 I'm making the steps to quit the tobbacco... Except for my rum dipped cigars that is... I quit drinking and drugging over 20 years ago and this is my last bad habbit I quit for myself and my family.
I'm looking at getting the Xhaleo2 at 7-11, I've seen other kiosk e-smoke stands everywhere, but the prices seem a bit steep. I was amazed to see them at 7-11, nows my chance....
I welcome any advice and tips, I've seen the mods for metal carts and how to recharge them... Looking forward to hearing from you all.

Hi BiohazardVideo, Welcome. 23 years worth of 24 hours myself. Now I am looking at 8 weeks without a cig next Sunday. The e-cigs have made quitting pretty painless. I started with a Kr8808 from Vapor for Life. This is a two piece system and nice for simplicity's sake. Excellent customer service too. I just got an Ego from Cignot. This is a 501 Joye product. I tried it because it has great battery life and everyone here is so excited about it. This is a two or three piece system, depending on whether you use a cartomizer or a cartridge. So far it has a little more vapor but a little less flavor. I am really happy with both of these products, generally plenty of vapor and plenty of flavor. Read this forum for a while and choose something reliable from a good vendor that suits your needs. The reading and posting questions will really help. The learning curve is a little steep at first but then it levels out. The people here are great!

If they're cheap it's worth a try, but keep in mind the flavor might not be as good as you'd like. I wouldn't pay more than about $15 or so because they simply don't seem to sell decent e-cigs at that type of store. If you're committed to quitting smoking using e-cigs, I'd recommend you spend around $50 and get a good starter kit and a couple bottles of juice. It's simply a much better experience.

Hi BHV... Like you, I'm new to this experience. After two weeks I've been through a local tobacco shop knockoff and a DSE-901. A few late nights reading these forums and finding all the positive recommendations convinced me to order the eGo last night from myfreedomsmokes. They're normally a little higher than what I would have been comfortable spending, but they've got 40% off hardware with coupon code "smoke", so that was a no-brainer for me. I think that's good until 9/7, so maybe that will help if you decide to go the eGo route!

I just got the Xhale o2 and am happily puffing away, I figure $19.99 for the starter and $14 for the 10 cartridge refill it's a good starting point. I've read about "refilling" the cartridges and am going to make a trip to the Indoor Swap Meet here in Vegas where we have an E-Cig store soon. I've noticed the flavor is different,, but I'm getting used to it, might get a second hooka one for switchups. The other big plus is I have a houseful of support behind me. I'll keep you up to date on my experience...

Just got a hookah set and although it puts out a lot of vapor, I am not really getting any flavor. Granted over time my taste buds have demanded a stronger and stronger e-liquid so i could taste the flavor but sadly my Xhale o2 just does not do it for me. Right now I am trying the grape flavor, perhaps another flavor is better.

Glad you are enjoying yours.

Went to "Sin City Vapor" today, small shop in the indoor swap meet. Okay selection of flavors, but will custom mix or get you whatever supplies for mixing at no extra cost. Got some "Malboro" and "Island Rum".... I'm having way too much fun. They have a starter kit that comes with a charging case, here is a link for their page and the next acquisition I'm looking at... Vapor Kit: Black / Black Any thoughts?

The kit you are considering doesn't say what type it is or what it's compatible with. The price is a bit high too. For half that you can get a 510 kit from many suppliers. Try Joye 510 NO BOX, or Joye 510 Vaporizer. I've seen posts this weekend for labor day sales where you can get a 510 kit for $20. A starter kit and a couple of bottles of juice will get you going for less than half what Sin City Vapor wants for their stuff.

Bio, www.tastyvapor.com has a 510 kit for $20.00.....it's not an authentic Joye brand, but it's good....and certainly better than the 7-ll kits. They charge a flat $5.00 shipping, and the have juice there, too. I have ordered lots of stuff from them....the customer service is great and they ship fast....

That sale for the 510 kit is only for this week....I think it goes back up to $25.00 (still a good price) next week. You might just call them and talk to Geoff or someone there....they can tell you about their stuff and make some recommendations about juice and stuff.

WELCOME! Great place to start....there is alot of information on here....I would DEFINATLEY check out the starter kits from the vendors on here and pick one that would benefit you, from what I have read when I did my research, the ones you find in the store or kiosks are overpriced and some may not give you the positive experience that we are all having. I too was going to my local smoke shop to by a kit they had, but by LUCK found this forum and began reading and reading and reading....LOL...and decided on my kit of choice and after 40 years of smoking marlb reds with 3 lame attempts to quit in that time, got my kit, charged it up and haven't looked back nor picked up an analog since! That in itself is amazing, wished I found these a couple years ago....So enjoy your journey, read the posts and ask questions, the folks on here are GREAT HELP for us newbies!

With too much time on my hands I've finally come to a decision... Going to get an Joyetech EGO, GREAT battery life and starter kit comes with 2 complete units including attys and 5 carts. The link for tastyvapors is dead... I figure the larger unit will pay for itself in a short while and it's only $66.95 here Joyetech EGO Kit in Matte Black
