Peace be upon all that read this post.

I am a muslim Arab. Born in Abu Dhabi. Raised in the west. Hi...

Just kicked off a 15 year habit of smokes.I've been vaping for 3 months now. However, as a muslim I can't consume alcohol in any way or form. That, as you can imagine, leaves me with little choice with e juices. Other than Virgin Vapes (Absolute line) and Avantgarde eliquids, I can't seem to find e-liquid companies that don't use ethyl/alcohol as base in thier liquids. It's driving me mad when i hear of these wonderful e-juices from all around the world, that i cant touch.

So i'm here on only one mission (2 if you count meeting good folk along the way). I'm here to collect petitions from vapors that are like me. Those who (for whatever reason) cannot vape e-liquids that contain even slight traces of alcohol. My thoughts are, if I can collect enough supporters, and therefore increase demand, some of the best companies may decide to produce a line of non-alcoholic liquids.

This i smy online petition form. Your digital signatures and kind support are welcome and will be much appreciated. Please click on the link below:

Soooo, here i am. Talk to me if you have anything to comment about.

God bless,

Khaled

Hi and welcome to ECF!

I think one thing you could do is contact some of the larger manufactures and tell them you need a product with no alcohol and see what they can do. Mt Baker Vapor is the company I order from most and their customer service has been nothing but amazing. It wouldn't hurt to ask.

Good luck =)

Hi Bontasia. MT Baker Vapor are amazing. I've ordered from them (91% Russian). Josh, Andrew, Hans...a great bunch. Customer service? Second to none ! But I forgot to mention that I've contacted over 20 ejuice suppliers as well. All not willing to provide non-alcohol containing ejuice. I get responses about how there could be traces but can be , amybe, reduced with steeping. I can't do maybe unfortunately.

But thanks for your comment. God Bless.

I'll bet a lot of the smaller juice companies would be willing to custom-make juice for you if asked. I have read in posts that leaving the tops off your juice after they arrive dissipates the alcohol. I guess not all of it would be gone though. Try Velvet Cloud Vapor, Bryce's, etc. If you look in the Forum suppliers list, you can PM a lot of the juice providers and ask about the possibility of doing that for you. You will need your 5 posts in before you can ask there, though.

Peace be upon you.

My understanding is that many PG based flavorings contain no alcohol, whereas most VG based flavorings do.

It would be harder, then, to find 100% VG juice without alcohol because many VG flavorings use alcohol as the flavor carrier.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I wouldn't think that it would be so difficult...

Inshallah...

Ksubaihi - welcome to the forum. You bring a great question (or challenge) to the table. I bet you'll have an answer very quickly.

DIY juice is definitely cheaper and is every bit as good (or better), as you can customize it to your liking... Hopefully HoseGarden can produce a good list for you. He always seems to be super helpful, as are most of the great folks here. Again, welcome!

hosegarden, thanks for the warm welcome. The alcohol in the liquids i speak about isn't only about the flavorings but also in the process of flavor extraction. As Cbrite mentioned, companies will claim that steeping dissipates the alcohol but how much of that alcohol dissipates? Can't take risks you see..... Thanks for the support though...

Most of my mixes are one flavor. The best part about it for me is that it costs very little-- I have 28 different flavors going, with a clearo or carto-tank for each, and I wouldn't be able to do that if I ordered pre-made juices. I like what I have, and am able to switch off frequently, so I don't get flavor fatigue. I think that is my best answer as to how tasty they are.

I don't vape tobacco flavors. However, Wizard sells the following alcohol-free tobacco flavorings-- American Red Tobacco Flavor Concentrate (TFA), Mild Black Flavor (TFA), RY4 Double Flavor (TFA), RY4 Asian Flavor Concentrate ( TFA), and Tobacco Type Flavor Concentrate (TFA)

Thst is a pretty good selection of their tobaccos.

I'm probably wrong with this but isn't alcohol 1 solution that doesn't freeze? oils freeze as far as I know so couldn't you freeze your e-liquid and drain the alcohol, maybe freeze twice to make sure it's all gone.

It's not that simple. Beer has alcohol in it and it will freeze. If the alcohol separated, then that might work.

Leaving the bottle open to the air will allow the alcohol to dissipate, as well.

I take Antabuse when needed, and none of my juices give me troubles....(even a small amount of residual alcohol would cause problems for me).
Razzlematt. Thats really interesting. You know, when contacting ejuice suppliers, I dont mention anything about religious restrictions, i actually inform them that for medical reasons, I cannot consume even the slightest bit of Alcohol. I figure if the suppliers see a possible legal consequence of them lying, they'll be honest. But anyways, because of religious limitations, i just cant take the risk. In the risk of sounding too extreme, My attitude is, when i meet God, I'll tell him that I did the best i could with no compromises. :)
