Just dropping in to say hello and introduce myself. I'm Charles from Huntsville, Alabama and after almost 23 years of smoking at least a pack a day of M'boro Lights I am now almost 5 weeks clean from cigarettes after being introduced to vaping. Call me lucky I guess considering many people give up after trying the disposable "gas station" brands of e-cigs only to not get the level of satisfaction they're looking for. I had a friend at work recommend a local shop here in town which carried the E-Go 510 kits so I picked up a kit called the AtmosRX Optimus which is basically an exact clone of the E-Go in that it uses the same accessories (atomizers, batts, etc). I've been experimenting with different flavors of e-fluids as the most common brand this store carries is the Sofa King brand of fluids. As far as the hardware, I'm pleased with the "throat hit" I receive from this setup even though it's basically stock with just the 650mA battery for now and I upgraded to a rebuildable atomizer. I'm planning on upgrading to the Kranger T3 or EVOD tank this week and will eventually pick up a decent adjustable battery with a little more capacity. That'll be pretty much my limit other than getting into mixing my own DIY fluids as my primary motivation other than health for this hobby is saving money with cigarettes over $5 a pack here in town. Nice to meet everyone and I hope to learn from the experts of the forums once I get comfortable with my setup.
It's good to know that you're starting out with the 'good' stuff, unlike so many people here (including me), who wasted hundreds of dollars on inferior vaping products. Happy vaping!
