Hello from a new/old vaper from Chilliwack. I used to vape years ago but unfortunately went back to cigs but have decided to switch back to vaping. I left just as the first provaris came out and wow have things changed since then!!
Welcome! Always nice to see other Canadians here!

Eh, waddup? Welcome. There's so much to choose from now. My suggestion is to research first, then get something that can abide the rapid development of new gear. By this, I mean to not get something that you'll find that you've wasted your money on because you may upgrade ultra soon. I've spent lots on upgrading and now I'm settled with a great rda, a great tank, and a great mod that is firmware upgradeable that can do up to 150 watts realistically, 200w if the build can handle it. But yet it only pulses above 150 anyways. Either way, I've never been over 110w so this does me just fine.

I ordered the evic-VTC mini with the tron tank so hopefully thats enough to get me going.

It'll do 75 watts and pretty much whatever temp controlling you want. It's standard modes are power(watts), bypass(like a mech it only reads the battery), temp ni (ni200 nickel), temp ti (titanium), and temp ss316 (stainless 316L). Also there is m1, m2 and m3 which are manual settings for tcr mode which regulates the temp based on the temp coefficient of any wire you want to use. This mode takes a bit of research, but can be worth it. It's a great mod. I just upgraded to the cuboid because I wanted to get over 75 watts and have better battery longevity. Make sure you are running version 3.0 firmware by pressing the fire button 20 times. If it isn't, then upgrading is very simple on the VTC mini. Enjoy it man. It's a good one to start out on. It can last you a very long time. Especially since Joyetech have been good with the updates.
