Hello from Charlotte NC

Hey all!

Started vaping a week ago, mainly to stop smoking. It's funny. While smoking i could never understand why ex smokers were so hard on current smokers about the smell and effects of smoKing until I quit myself. Best decision I ever made.

I started with an ego twist battery and a Kanger protank 2 mini last Saturday. Since then I bought a regular protank.... then yesterday I got an iTaste SVD with a Kayfun 3.1 tank. I LOVE THIS THING!!!

Already looking at making my own juice, and getting the ingredients is no problem, I just have to work out the nicotine levels in my juice as I like the 6 to 8 mg juices. That I will get to later.

I have learned to build coils (was easy for me due to the work I do) and have switched to cotton wicks.

I am looking at an auto dipper (assisted, whatever) made by dopro? If any of you know what I am talking about let me know. A local shop has one they are selling with a mod but won't separate the kit (shame on them).

But anyway... i am loving vaping. And enjoying the switch from being a smoker.

Welcome to ECF! That's what got me too smoking could never pass my free time like vaping does learning on the forums, building coils, talking to interesting folks and enjoying the vape afterwards. Not too mention I am healthier than I ever was while I was smoking it's a win, win, win, win!

I think that is what made vaping (serious vaping) so unique. It gave me options to fill the time I typically smoked with building coils and researching. I. Congrats on the switch and finding a device you enjoy. Depending on your personal finances you may wish to start a vape budget. Its very easy to get carried away with buying new vape gear and you will constantly find something you want. I'm not familiar with the 'auto dripper' you mentioned but I drip the old fashioned way/ use a reo depending. If you ever find your way towards the upstate of SC there are some really nice shops everywhere you turn.

If you search around here for groups, I bet you'd find one for Charlotte, or at least one that's close. You're in a good region for vaping supplies of all kinds, lots of shops in NC and you should have a good selection in your neck of the woods.

And if you haven't gotten into DIY flavors yet, check out Seduce Juice which is in Charlotte. Their Jango is probably the best e-liquid I've ever tried!
