when you said he was at Alington i caught my breath for a bit, i am glad to hear he is safe and sound, the kids dont know how much we worry, mine was in Iraq, never turned off my comp just in case he had a chance to skype me, also pass the thanks to your son.. darn them!

My kid returned from Afghanistan last summer, newconvert, and has been at Arlington since last Fall! 2.5 years to go there, then praying no more combat deployments again, ever. Congrats to your boy, and please thank him for his service, and to you for raising a soldier!

I was lucky. I never had a cigarette (well, a few sporadic drags just to see what I was missing - yetch!) since the first day I picked up an ecig. April 19 2011. Smoked 1 to 2 packs/day for 37 years before that.
The urge to have one hasn't gone away though. To this day I still find myself patting my pockets looking for a smoke (while I have my PV in my hand).
I know not everyone can be so lucky, but one cigarette less is a better one cigarette less and is reason to celebrate just as much as my total conversion.

Buddy, I hear that. We have our own parental version of battle stress, IMHO. Worst year of my life, that was... terrified of leaving my cell in another room or missing a facebook "green dot" next to his name on chat so I'd know he was ok.

Are you with the CO PGR? Your profile pic makes me think you might be a rider. I joined the facebook group, but still haven't found the time to get going on it. I'll be the one driving a minivan... LOL!

My kid went from combat in the 'Stan to The Old Guard at Arlington as an honor guard. They know how to treat infantrymen who earned their CIBs there. Bless 'em all... (there's no emoticon for how I feel right now).

Welcome to the forum NewConvert....as you already know in Colorado we are really dry...we must drink water to survive...now that your vapeing drink even more water as before as vaping sucks it right out of your system. Good luck Buddy!

I went to college in Boulder, and it blows (heh) my mind that there's no vape store there. Seriously?? If I lived there, I'd open one on the Hill, seeing as CU just outlawed smoking on campus.

Actually really funny you say that. I live just outside the hill on Marine and Broadway. There is a open retail space across the street. Perfect location. I have a couple buddies who are thinking of opening a shop with myself and a couple others. So hopefully soon! We have the funds and the knowledge, we contacted the owner a couple days ago and are waiting for a counter-offer with how much the space will cost.

i know aht you mean, i do the pat downs, the search to make sure i have my lighter make sure my .... is out all of it i too ad the couple of drags, and yup i am lucky it tasted horrible, and yes my pv was also in my hand, its crazy all the habits associated with cigs, so now, just as with smokes i do the after dinner thing, and everything else i used to do, but! now with a smile and a feeling of accomplishment

vapor leaf is fairly nicely stocked off of colfax and wadsworth, maybe 6 blocks west on the south side of the street, good customer service too, juices arent bad, only complaint is they are 50/50 only, and no special orders.

yes i do ride, i actually picked up the riding to do more with my son once he ETS'd, now i belong to a vetrans riding group and we do rides for vets and other orginizations.

Piratevapor is new in town too. Juices made to order. Owner said he was going to get an all VG and all PG line going. Not sure when but I hope soon. He has great hours. Picked up some of his Grape the other day and after two days steeping it was awesome! Taste like Bubble yum Grape! Vaporleaf's Grape taste like Grape koolaid. Needs a bit of time to steep too.
oh yea, I love VL's cinn redhot!!!

Out north metro there is The Vapor Shop. New too, 120th & Huron. eGo stuff & house juice. Went in to look around for a few minutes and chatted, nice folks. Didn't buy anything or look at prices though.

I love VaporLeaf. They were my go to guys before I found this forum. In fact, just stopped by today for help with my Pro Tank. I just can't get the vape I want and my batteries were shorting out. Battery issue resolved! My fault totally. Now to work on the vape. I read about an air regulator adapter here on the forum and ordered one from madvapes today. Looking forward to getting my next vapemail!

Anyway, the VaporLeaf folks are really helpful and very friendly. Only open three days a week and it can get a bit crowded. If you can't handle waiting in lines, this place isn't for you. Best to order stuff online and just drop by to pick up the finished order.

yup! i've been to the vaporleaf several times, good juices, but they wont do special orders, very nice guys too. they carry the provari stuff now as of past week. thanks for the welcome, and you said it right STINKIES!!!

Checked them out today. Nice guys. Nice stock of vape ware. Flavors were tasty too. Told me if I couldn't find what I wanted they would try to accommodate me.
Picked up a couple of juices. They are trying to have pre-steeped flavors! Love that the tobacco ones were ready to vape.
