    Hi everyone,

my name is Lisa, I’m from Germany and I’ve been vaping for about 7 years now. Like many here, I started with cigarettes when I was younger but switched to vaping and never looked back. At the beginning, I used simple pen-style devices, but over time I got more curious and started experimenting with pod systems and small mods.

Right now I mostly use a Caliburn G4 pod for everyday situations, and sometimes a vaporesso XROS when I want something different. I enjoy fruity flavors the most (mango, berry, apple mint, tabacco), but I’m also slowly exploring dessert liquids like vanilla custard.

I joined this forum because I’d like to exchange experiences, maybe get some recommendations for good pod systems or liquids, and just chat with people who share the same passion. My English isn’t perfect, but I hope you can still understand me well.

Looking forward to being part of this community!

Hey, Lisa, and welcome to the forums! I’ve actually recently come across two delicious juices: Vapetasia’s Strawberry Parfait and FUYL’s Cranberry Grape. The former is a sorta dark creamy flavor, not strong on the strawberry, while the latter has a certain tartness that just hits the right spot, and just a hint of menthol which I normally do NOT like, but it really works with this juice. Hope you can come across them yourself, and happy vaping!

    Hi Lisa,
glad you've joined us, and welcome.
The forum may not be as vibrant as it was in the good old days, but we're still here and we're not going anywhere.

We have a thread called "Shinyitis Support Group" where we're a bunch of people who come there every day, and most of us are a bit, shall we say, blinded by all the new things that we somehow always have to have.

Several there who use pods, rta, boro, etc.

    Your English is very good.

we still have some, but geared to beginers,no more vape lounges in my state.
    what are yours like?
Here (Minnesota) they’ve basically entirely switched to disposables. So while liquids exist, they’re almost always 6%. I *really* dislike that the bottom nic level is still 3%. That makes disposables as hard to quit as cigarettes. When I removed nicotine i went by single digits down to 3, and fractions thereafter. I think the lowest number was .25. This can be done by mixing your own, or mixing store bought zeroes with identical 3% flavors. (Which you generally have to order online. I think I’ve seen a total of two bottles of zero in stores. Most places none) It cannot be done at all with disposables though, and I think that makes them the worst system by itself.

maybe they want to bring back the smoking trend?

Depends on whom you mean by “who”. Big tobacco is trying that hard. As it always has been ever since their ecig failed so spectacularly 10 years ago. In Australia and in national stuff in the US it looks that way. Though in the US federally it also seems like they’re also trying to bring back COVID. Minnesota would have to be duped though. The big problem is the trend of “Smok’in in the boy’s room” thing with disposables seems to be what they are fighting and the problem is the children grew up and don’t know how to use non-disposables. The whole “it’s worth up to 5% of my income not to Learn” thing I’ve been seeing is mystifying to me. It’s true, $200-600/month is not enough to convince some people. It should be enough to convince a lot of people though.
