Hi guys,
I joined this forum cause of this thread: "585616-building-hana-style-mod-fasttech-enclosure-looking-tips-tricks-suggestions".
I started vaping on February 11, 2014, so 1 year in 2 days. I use to smoke 38+ cigarettes a day and was very skeptical about e-cigarettes. I started with E-Go like cigarette and 24 mg of nicotine (I think it was "7 leaves" a tobacco flavor) and realized it works and it's too much for me, so I decided to lower down the nicotine to 18 mg of Irish Cream flavor. I vaped 18 mg for about 6-7 months, then switched to mech mode Nemesis clone and a Patriot (clone) dripping atomizer. I switched to 9 mg nicotine for the next 2 weeks, then to 4.5 mg the next couple of weeks. After that, I use 3 mg nicotine. I've spent the last year reading, watching or talking about vaping to increase my knowledge and get the best of it. My first project is a "Hana" enclosure from Desire with an original Evolv DNA40 (ordered from protovapor) and FD v4 low profile 510 connector . It's my first attempt and I got it working, but I left the wires too long so I'm going to de-solder, change the wire type and re-solder everything again. Planing to insert magnets for the cover.
By the way, I think this site is very educative and open for sharing experience and I hope I'll contribute as well.
It's nice to be a member :)

The site doesn't allow me to go full size...doesn't allow me even 640p, so I had to resize to 300p.
Thanks

Managed to upload 640x360 (probably cause I already have 5 posts). Yes, I did it, but made a mistake by choosing the wire with bold sleeves and almost double the length needed. Cracked one of the battery connectors so I'm going to wait till my new battery holder arrives and re-do the mod.
Thanks

Welcome DennyMK and thx for the pics, are you satisfied with the fat daddy 510 connector?

Yes, I'm satisfied with the FD v4 low profile 510 conector. As you can see in the pics, sits nicely. I got the enclosure from Desire and it includes a sled, which I had to re-shape so it can fit FD connector and the up and down buttons. Now everything is in, fixed and not even a single drop of glue on the board or buttons. Added a protection screen on the enclosure for the board display and used super glue, which was also a mistake cause it left a white trail as shown on the pics.
Thanks
