Hello from Miami

Hello to all!
I was a smoker for 25 years and today marks my second week that I have been off of real cigs.
Since it would ruin the point to celebrated with a cigar, I just placed an order for the equivalence from volt!

I'm very glad that I started with a white 808 kit and maintained my habit of smoking outdoors only. It really helped allot to keep all my rituals the same and pretend that I was just smoking a very weird tasting brand. It took me a week to stop bringing a lighter with me.
I didn't tell anyone that I was going to try e cigs and I look so much like I always do when I'm smoking-
that no one has noticed that I haven't smoked for 2 weeks. Not even the other 2 smokers in my family who live with me!

I guess the cat will be out of the bag when the big x2 with colorful clearomizers arrive and they see me huffing that thing on the balcony!

Good job, and you have every right to get stoked on yourself. Quitting smoking is extremely difficult, and thanks to this technology, many of us are finally able to do it. Smoking claims approx. 5 million lives a year, be grateful you wont be one of them.

Since it turns out I actually can quit smoking and it's not just wishful thinking, I'm starting to think I may be able to do other things that didn't seem realistic 2 weeks ago-
like take my sloppy self to a gym and get in shape.

I'm brand new to this but I've only had three analogs since I started vaping on Monday. I am (hopefully was) a pack a day smoker so I am looking forward to finally kicking that habit.

Welcome Fred! We're glad you're here. Great job on quitting the cigs. Keep us informed.
As for me, I still have one on occasion. Been vaping seriously about 4 months. I average 1 cig/day. Not bad. Some days I forget to smoke! LOL. This week I went 2 days in a row forgetting to smoke.
