Hi all, first post / intro.

I am looking to get off of the analogs and I hope by vaping I will have success! :2cool:

If anyone could toss some advice my way, that would be just great.

Last year, I tried this and got a nice starter kit from V4L. For the most part, I liked it because it was "easy" to use. I kind of liked their WOWBOY flavor.

Spring ahead to this year, and I just picked up an EGO (from the mall - I know) and while I like it, I think it will be hard to get the "work" day out of it without bringing along extra stuff. I am trying to avoid this if possible.

What would be my best bet for a "skinny" e-cig? Something simple that would allow me most of the workday... I am about a 3/4 pack per day smoker.

I did sell the V4L kit to a friend last year so I no longer have it.

I plan to use my EGO at home where it will be easy to refill. But, for work it would be very nice not to have to carry a bunch of stuff with me.

Can anyone give me any suggestions? Please?

I want this to work - big time!

Thank you,

Ray

Welcome! I am a Minnesota girl (relocated to CO) and will always be a Minnesotan at heart and would love to be back home...

Just wanted to say hi! I have a kGo myself, love it and think it would be a good one to get thru the work day. Batteries last a long time, and with the right carto or clearomizer, you could get a lot of time out of it without having to lug a ton of stuff with you. Good luck finding what you need!

Hi and welcome.. the biggest advice you'll get is to not get stuck on the slim cigarette style pv's.. and it's absolutely true. Those just don't have the battery life to get you through the day. I totally agree with Momma.. KGO is the way to go. I started with a slim design and very quickly upgraded to the KGO. The batteries last all day and into the next. With the right carto you won't care if you ever SEE another analog, let alone smoke one. You can get a KGO kit from Hoosier ecig supply for under $50 and get two batteries and all the fixins.. can't beat that! Good luck to you!

I smoked for 25 years, and have quit completely using e-cigs. It is definitely possible. There are TONS of ex-smokers here.
I went back and forth from ecig to cigarettes for about a week. After that, I found that I preferred the ecig OVER the analogs. In fact, I still have 8 cigarettes left in a pack I had purchased before receiving my first ecig. I've kept them around, just in case, but haven't had even the slightest urge to light one up in well over a month.

I would suggest getting two ego, kgo, or e-power batteries, two cones, some Boge or Smoktek low resistance (LR) cartomizers, and a good flavor selection of e-liquids in 12-18mg strength.

Not sure about the other brands, but the ego Large case is perfect for one the go. It will hold your two pvs (personal vaporizers), quite a few cartomizers, and a couple of juice bottles, which is more than enough to get you through a work day. There are several vendors out there that sell double kits for around $60. The cartomizers are separate, and usually come in a 5 pk for $5.99-7.99

Search youtube for reviews and how to's, and feel free to ask more questions here. This is an awesome group of highly-supportive and encouraging people.

Good advice from luvinit. Get a Bigger Battery...I have an ePower with the new switches and it's kept me off the analogs since the 6th of Feb of this year. And YES with the right flavor eJuice, at least it's working for me, you wont want another analog. Also,I prefer Cartomizers to tanks and adomizers with cartridges...flavor is more to my liking with Cartomizers.

Welcome and lucky you - you're in the state that's home to Vermillion River -- Welcome to Vermillion River Premium E-Juice
One of the best juice vendors around; don't know if they have a physical presence but hey, at least the shipping will be fast!

I am pretty new but after the initial convenience store purchase that got a lot of us here, I settled an Echo starter kit and have been very happy with it. I commute two states away every day and don't want to hassle with refilling juice either -- the Echo 1300 batteries last all day and the 3ml cartomizers also last all day (though I've defeated the purpose of having big batteries and cartos by wanting a variety of juices to switch among all day long, so I'm still toting lots of stuff :)

You can view the Echo thread here
You can ask questions - great bunch of folks on that thread - and there are places to buy that are linked on the thread.
Echos are not as common as some of the other setups you'll get recommendations on, but I love mine!
Welcome and good luck!
