Welcome to ECF Marko,

This is a journey that is easier for some than it is for others. Congrats on your decision to quit smoking. If I can offer one single piece of advice, just remember:

Don't count your failures by the cigarettes you smoke, count your successes by the ones you don't!

I wish you the best in your efforts.

Oh, and if you respond to everyone that welcomes you individually, it will help you get your post count up quickly.

Hi Marko! And welcome to the forum! I'm from the Gulf Coast, so just wanted to say hi from another Mississippian! Good luck with this new journey and congratulations on giving up the stinkies! It can be difficult when you get a craving, but I just hit a little more on my e-cig and they quickly go away! I'm loving being analog-free!

omyeyes, Yes, I was smoking between 1.5 to 2 packs a day! My wife and figured it up and since I started e-cigs I've smoked 1 pack in 11 days!!!! I've never seen anything this effective before!!! When I bought my first vape I picked up a bottle that was close to the flavor of my analogs. Later that day I decided if I was going to actually do this, I wanted to get away from the taste as soon as possible! I've tried quite a few local places and I'm still looking for the perfect flavor, but a friend of mine mixes his own stuff and honestly his is the best I've tasted so far.

I also forgot to mention what I'm using... I started out with a innokin 1.6 ml ego pen?, but it just didn't hold enough to get me through the day :-( so I bought a Hypertank 2, then this past weekend my friend invited me over to let me try some of his personal flavors and explain to me some of the stuff about the different types of vaporizers after we got there he showed me how to setup a genesis style atty and told me I could keep the one he used to show me how to do it!!! He's a pretty awesome friend!!!

Welcome aboard Marco....this forum is addictive....I have been off analogs now for 65 days....the day I ordered some Malty Toffee from Backwoods Brew was the day I knew I had smoked my last stanky. I smoked both eCigs and analogs for about 6 months before finally laying down the Marlbys (with absolutely no ill-effects whatsoever). I have been having a blast rebuilding coils for my protanks and am just now getting into rebuildable drippers.....bottom line is.... i am chasing flavor beyond anything else. The day I laid my ego batteries down for my first mod was my light bulb moment.....now this has quickly turned into a hobby....and a really fun one at that. Salud!

Yeah! I can already see how much appeal there is to the stuff for a hobby, I don't want to trade one vice for another, however it I get the point that I'm not using nicotine at all I think I'll be fine! :2cool:

Which of the local shops have you tried? There seems to be a new one popping up almost every week! I know a new one just opened up on Hwy 49, although I haven't had a chance to check it out yet, and there's another one less than a mile from it too.

Sorry for the slow response time guys :-( you know what they say "tis the season to be too busy to do anything fun..."

I've tried a couple near me smokescreen in Guatier, CheapButts in Moss Point, and Smokeys in Pascagoula. But the only juice I've found that I can do all day is the cappuccino my friend makes. Almost everything else I've tried is just too sweet.

Yeah in a weeks time I went from a cheap innokin itaste with an automatic battery to a hyper tank2 with the same batt. to a smoktech rsst on a KeCig K100 mod with an 18650 batt. (Thats the one my friend hooked me up with) :)
