thanks for the info miz..
Oh btw did you get your riva in. I got mine yesterday. Lovely device other than the fact that my charger doesnt seem to be working at all. The DIL kit her charger works intermittantly It looks like.. Did you notice a problem with your charger? This is one that I know I couldnt have messed up lol
the device itself is lovely and Im enjoying it, hope your are too :)

Thanks again for all the great welcomes!

Susett, I found a forum topic, Cosmetic mods. Wow! Lots of great stuff there! Being the shopping fiend I am, looks like today I may be spending my day at the craft stores, and beauty supply stores. You might do a search for Waterslide decals. There are some darling ones on ebay, but of course, I may try to look around here first for them. What a tragedy, I have to go shopping...:p

Are you sure you are screwing your battery into your charger correctly? I always turn in the 'wrong' direction first just until I feel it click down into the threads. Kind of like when you are trying to screw on a jar lid but keep threading it wrong so you "back up" until it clicks into the right track and then proceed in the correct direction. You want to screw it in while applying gentle downward pressure and don't tighten it too tight. Screw the battery into the charger first and then plug the charger into the wall. This way you can see if the light flashes and turns red, then you know it's on right. Charge for atleast 6 hours. I sometimes leave mine on overnight, it won't hurt it to be on the charger past the point where the light turns green.

Gosh, everyone, I kinda forgot about replying! I have gotten my kit, and am vaping! I love it when I am doing it right, but still learning. Tee hee, I feel like a fancy lady puffing away on some exotic cigarette holder.

I am hoping today will be my first day without analogs, but I am not so sure yet....

Anyways, I am decorating already! Here are my first efforts, and a couple pics of my "Battery and Stuff Central" (Charger/Desk organizer from the place where Maxxinistas shop) They were on clearance for 3 bucks. BTW, that paper stuff is tea bags for cart modding. The stickers? Rub-ons for 29 cents from the craft shop with a boy's name. Same place for those jewels, which were a buck in the 10 for 10 bin.

The batt I decorated is prettier in person. Camera didn't do it justice.

Newbz, I think I have changed my mind about the jewel, maybe a pretty holographic sticker....Or a Hello Kitty one! I have tons of those.

I think I may break down and buy a cig looking kit to take to work. This pink is a bit outrageous! I will probably go with the titanium when I buy batts and atties again. Need to buy some blue foam, cuz I am not the happiest with the stuff they sent me.

Still working out the kinks. I am happy with what I bought except the drip tip. It doesn't fit, and is wobbly. No biggie, they are cheap.

I previewed my post, it is kind of wonky for the pics, but I am still learning that to.

Ahhh I have no lights on the charger .. and couldnt tell if there was any charging goin on.. it was on for 5hrs which is longer than it takes for the egot to charge so thought it should be done. When I put it on my Ego charger it took lil over two hours to charge up totally. Next time I drain one I will plug in over nite just to be sure its just the lights that are not working. (meaning when u screw in the cig there is a red light on the plug that goes into the wall but the one in the cig is neither red or green). Not really happy that the indicator lights arent working but I can get use to it if the charger is actually working I suppose lol.. thanks for the tips :)

Hi, as you see, I am MizJackson. You may sing along with the song if you wish, everyone else does when they use that as my name.

I am anxiously awaiting my pink Riva, and am getting very antsy. I was hoping to not have to buy any more analogs, but the dang post office is getting in my way!

I am SO ready to get started, cleaned off all the nasties from my computer area last night, in hopes my Riva would come, but alas......:(.

It is soooo embarrassing to see the gunk that was on my monitor, and everywhere else.

So I am hoping it will be Monday! I already have plans for blinging up my Riva, and am already thinking about how to get Hello Kitty on the battery. I love Hello Kitty, and pink, so I think it is a perfect match!

I know there is going to be a lot of steps from where I am to where I will be, but anything is better than smoking. I have smoked for lots of years, and since I have been really stressed lately, my smoking has gone through the roof! I talk on the phone all day at work, and I hate that I sound like Harvey Firestein on the phone when I first start talking.

When I brought up the idea of vaping to my family, my son has been really supportive. I didn't realize how much he hated my smoking. It makes me sad that I didn't think to try this sooner.

But starting I am, and I hope that I will be amongst you all for a very, very long time.

(I know it doesn't sound like it, but I am almost 50! I wasn't nearly as girly when I was younger. Maybe I am entering my second childhood.:p)

Hello MizJackson!

A belated "Welcome to ECF!" from another Missourian! lol! Congrats on getting your starter kit! I think e-cigs are the best thing since milk chocolate was invented! Glad you joined the ECF family!
