Hey! I've been lurking around ECF for quite a while, but I thought it was about time to introduce myself, and use the forums properly. My name is Trevor, I am 19 years old, (or young depending on you're point of view, lol). I live in Lincoln, Nebraska, and have been a member of the local vape community, (In a sense), for a little over a year. Unfortunately I haven't been able to completely kick the habit of smoking. I started smoking at a young age, (As I am sure many of you have). I have regularly smoked 1 to 2 1/2 packs of marlboro reds a day for the past 6 years.

With cigarettes becoming more and more expensive every day, and being that my health isn't getting any better I decided to start vaping.

First, I bought the Ego Twist, I believe that's the name. Second I bought the next up Ego, I liked it because I could drive and charge it at the same time. I am in my truck quite a lot. I gave that to my Dad, because he needs to quit and wants to try lol, and I then bought a Titan mechanical mod. The guy at the shop was kind enough to make the first coil for me, but he of course has the means of testing the resistance, and plenty of skill lol. So learning how to build coils properly is on my to do list. I would love to have dual coils. I have already drilled out the holes a tiny bit larger on my Igo w, for more air flow.

Anyways, thanks for taking the time to read my introduction, and happy vaping!

Hi Trevor!

I too started young, at 13! I wish I could go back and have a talk with myself then.

Everyone quits at their own pace and own way. The most important part is that you're trying to quit. Hang in there, you'll get there when it's right for you! :toast:

Thank you for the warm welcome, I appreciate it!

Hi Trevor, and welcome to the forum. There are lots of friendly informative people here to help you with most any questions you might have. It sounds like you have a great attitude and want to do this good thing for yourself. That will take you a long way to success. I wish your dad success, too.

I got my granddaughter a starter ego kit, and she came to see "grandma" for a vaping lesson, lol. The family that vapes together, stays together.:)

Thank You! And that's amazing! My dad doesn't quite understand vaping completely yet, I mean it was hard enough to teach him how to use craigslist on a computer, haha. This will take a while. But I hope I can get him interested enough to help him quit. I don't need to see him in the hospital again with emphysema and all that!

Hello Trevor9168, welcome to the ECF party

best advice is to just keep at it and
good gear and good juice will keep you Vaping Happy

the transition will take place, vaping will dominate and the other
will just fade away...

Good Luck :)
