Hi and Welcome to ECF :) Good to see another kiwi. The is a kiwi forum that may help you.

KiwiVapers.Com • Index page

I second what kiwivap has told you about the Vamo which I am currently using, the only problem is the battery cost at start up once over that then it is pretty easy.

I just noticed but Matamata is my home town haha! Awesome.

Woot! :) How are you finding the Vamo Yves? I took mine out in 18350 mode today and was pleased with it. Been using it at home over the weekend a lot in full size as well.

Very impressed kiwi only problem I have is in the smaller mode my fingers keep hitting the small buttons as that is what I am used to lol.

Very solid Mod and for the price I think unbeatable at present.

Salmon we have a supplier here that can provide the full kit + charger +batteries+ juice to start you off (with nic in) for NZ$150.00 free postage. I know a little above your current budget but that would be ready to go from the start with nothing to worry about apart from re ordering juice from overseas when your first supply ran out. Check out the forum link I gave you.

I use AW IMRs. You need a high drain battery for this. I already had some and picked up a couple more from Naked Vapor - a bit pricey but genuine AW IMRs. Yves might chime in on this one with an option too. Don't use protected batteries - IMRs have safer chemistry for this APV.

Exactly what I use and would recommend :)
