i've just started using an e-cig and love it. i've learned a lot of great things by lurking this forum and it seems to be a very friendly community.

long story short, i've had my silver bullet for a week and haven't had a cigarette since the batteries fully charged. at this point i don't see myself going back to analogs. here's why:

i gave it the full wedding test the 2nd day i had it. i went to an awful wedding with only my PV. This wedding was the type that has no chance of improving the divorce statistics. I was drinking and vaping away all night and not once had the urge to smoke an analog. the best part is that i woke up the next day and didn't feel like my chest was caving in from chain smoking.

anyway, i look forward to being a part of this place and continuing to learn about this stuff.

Welcome Pineaway!

Glad to hear it passed the wedding test! Today is 8 days off analogs for me, but it'll be my first night going out drinking tonight, which I was a little worried about, but your post made me feel better that it can be done.

What part of NJ are you from? Im smack in the middle in Monmouth County.

good luck! all you have to keep is stay focused on the notion that you are getting the nicotine you crave. if you take a drag more often, so be it.

i've been using black tea juice which is pretty harsh at times and i think that's helped me as well. really, really strong throat hit.

Hi from a former NJian.
I lived in NJ for more than 20 years before finding a place to make a left turn and now in upstate NY. I figured from your nick you were in the pine barrens. Used to work in Monmouth County (Belford, right around the corner from the convenience store in "Clerks"). Still miss having my gas pumped for me, especially in winter.

When I started vaping back in early July (the day the price went up to $10/pk for analogs in NY) I was in the midst of my second bout of bronchitis in 3 months. Within 3 days I was no longer wheezing and coughing and I just felt so much better. I smell better too and so does everything I own.

camden county...yea took me a few years to save the 4 bucks for the bridge to leave. funny thing is im making twice as much and paying half the cost of living in nc lol
