I decided to make a AA puck yesterday and my mom liked it so much that I went back to radio shack and got the parts to make another for her. I still have yet to get the NiMH rechargeable batteries, and even with the crappy low discharge alkalines it hits harder than my tornado. I think that's getting tired though. Its nice to know that I can walk into just about any store and get something that will work in a pinch. I can't wait to use some real batteries in it.

Thanks!

I also changed the design a bit. Since the switch in the battery holder is SPDT, I soldered another wire to the empty terminal, which I attached to one end of a 1ohm resistor. The other end goes to the connector. The lead that was already attached to the switch bypasses the resistor. This way, I have dual voltage in case I am using some LR attys or if I wind up with some of those nickle-zinc batteries.

I think my sister wants one too.

Hello from Cruces.

I am fairly new to vaping, a couple of weeks. I made the Puck as well and love it. Can't beat it for the price and it works very well. Are there any E-cig store in Abq that you are familiar with?

There is a kiosk at Cottonwood mall. Not worth it, IMO. They jack prices up above and beyond anything that a sane person would pay. I looked once, and it was either 10ml or 20ml (can't remember which) bottles of juice were over $20.

I avoid malls like the plague, so I can't say if there are any other kiosks at the other malls. Other than that, I don't think there are any stores. My sister would know if there were.
