Hello from Ontario, Canada!

Hello everyone.

My husband and I came across this Board by sheer accident yesterday while doing some research. I love the amount of advice and information we have found here!

Hubby has been anxious to quit for a while and he has told me about vaping before, but it wasn't until yesterday that we really sat down and did some serious research. We ordered two kits last night, and I can honestly say that for the first time, possibly ever, I am excited to quit. I have been smoking since 2001, and he has been smoking for, well, much much longer than that.

I look forward to reading more, and I am certain we will have some questions along the way. Talk soon. Off to happily wait for our shipment to arrive in the mail...

Welcome to ECF. As a noob myself, I have found this site to be one of the best. The people here are so helpful and friendly. When I first started here I lurked around, reading, quite a while before I ever posted a question. But not to worry. People here answered every question I had. Happy vaping.

Just an FYI to the Canadian new users - after the obligatory 5 posts you should probably check out the Canada forum. I don't know if you realize this, but Canada has banned the sale and import of e cigarettes in your country. Bummer! Your fellow citizens probably have some tips and tricks to deal with customs issues.

Welcome. My wife and I are both newbies and have quit 'stinkies' completely. You are right to be excited. This is a whole new, healthier experience. Good luck.

I saw that! Terrible, isn't it?? Lucky for us, it was actually the Canadian Board that had some information to help out with this. You have no idea how close we were last night to almost calling it quits in our looking. We had spent most of the day researching, we were ready to create an order, and then a big message popped up saying that they would not ship to Canada. Very disheartening!! We were able to locate a Canadian supplier though.

haha to "stinkies". Thats a great way to think of them. Our motivation is to be nic-free as we want to start planning to have another baby.
