I've been lurking her for quite some time. I figured I aught to make my inaugural post and kick things off. I smoked from eighteen to twenty three. Quit cold turkey that time... I started smoking again after three years and some change. I kept that up for over a year until a few months ago. I recently lost my wonderful next door neighbor to breast cancer. She had been battling it for years. Initially I worked with her. She was a wonderful woman who took me under her wing and looked out for me when it seemed like no one else would. My girlfriend and I moved into the apartment next door to her four years ago, and since that time she became like a mother to us. The first day we went to visit her in the hospital was the last day that either of us smoked a cigarette. My girlfriend quit cold turkey, and I have been vaping ever since. Sitting with her in the hospice was one of the hardest things either of us have ever done. Words can not describe.
Anyhow, I am glad to be here. As hard as things are, I am glad that something finally brought me to my senses.
