Got an Aga-T2 sent in from the UK. Been re-building my vivi's for ages now, how hard can it be? I thought...
Tried everything (drill bit, coiling on the Aga and off, rolling paper etc.) Couldn't get it right. My first efforts were plagued with hotspots, but I knew that was to be expected. Whatever I did after that looked fine, but the resistance on my lavatube was all over the place, 1 minute it's at 1.6 (just where I like it), the next it's up to 4!
I took the atty off and placed it on my old original LT (the one with the flat top) - and Bob's your uncle! Now I know what all the fuss is about - this is the best vape I've ever had - clouds of vapour and really clean flavour, I literally can't put the thing down.
The problem was, the centre post is stuck down on the chrome LT. I'd made a makeshift fix by putting a tiny piece of foil on top of the post to make a connection. This obviously can't take the current or get's hot or something.
Does anyone have any tips on how to fix this for now? (untill my Vamo arrives :)).
I guess I could put it on the Evic, but it looks so much better on a lump of stainless.
