Hello from Sweden

Hiya!

My name is Max and as the title say, I'm from Sweden. 45 years old and been smoking since I was 17, i.e. 28 years.
Kinda wanted to quit smoking, before I got any severe health issues, and was curious about vaping, but wasn't really planning to quit right away, with the usual 'We'll see..'-excuse.

Ordered online and received an Aspire Nautilus + iTaste SVD Friday the 6th of June 2014.
The day before, on the Thursday, I smoked my 20 cigs as usual.
That Friday, I smoked 3 cigs... and vaped.
On the Saturday I smoked 2 cigs... and vaped.
Sunday the 8th of June 2014, I smoked one cig in the morning with a loud -Eeewwww, and haven't touched the cigs since. I quit there and then, and haven't looked back, more than satisfied with the vaping.

Have since then gotten myself an Omega dripper and learned how to make coils. I mostly vape mount baker Vaper's 555, 80/20 PG/VG with 12 mg/ml nicotine, which quickly became my fav after trying a fav different brands and kinds of juices.

And right now there is a SQuape travelling with FedEx from Germany. Wanted a good vape with a rebuildable tank atomizer for which I don't have to buy coilheads. Looking forward to the release of the new ProVari 3, which will be my next mod upgrade from the SVD.
Sense of smell have returned. Food taste better and I'm less tired. I sleep better and my wallet is thicker.

So that's my story.

Nice and Congrats on quitting! I've noticed my sense of taste and smell are returning as well. I'm also starting to have a better appetite.

Breathing better as well. Cigarettes gave me mass anxiety and I felt like crap when I'd smoke them. But I was addicted. The smell I just couldn't stand even years smoking. Ashes every where. the list goes on and on. Welcome to the world of the wild wild west where you can do what you want on style of vaping.

Wow, almost the same story for me, except I'm in California, it was March and didn't good gear like you've already ordered. Congrats being smoke free and enjoy your vape!!

Now, my goal is to slowly work down to 0mg nicotine.

That's my plan aswell eventually. I'm set for 12 mg/ml at the moment, but I think it will be possible to work it down over time.
After all, it have replaced a rather heavy habit, and the vape have now taken over the role as anti-stress pacifier, but for endless reasons it feels a lot better with that and to be free of the cigs.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on finally leaving the cigarettes behind! You have started with some good gear My grandparents came from over there back in the 20's. I've never been to Sweden, but have a lot of relatives living over there. Enjoy!

to ecf MaxSjobeck. So glad to have you here. I think it is wonderful that vaping is working for you. Only thing that has ever helped me. Dripping is awesome. If dripping turns out to be your kind of vape, you should check out the reo grand. To me it is the ultimate dripper. Good luck to you and happy vaping.

Thank you. And while I hope and think my incoming SQuape Reloaded will be my regular method of vaping, I do want to enjoy dripping every now and then. Will check out the Reo Grand. Thanks for the tip.

Welcome, and congrats on your vaping success! Just wanted to say that if I could move to another country, it would be Sweden for many reasons. The food is a bonus as well...YUM. Some of my favorite recipes and flavors! Bet you can taste them all better now
