Just recently started vaping. Little by little I'm learning quite a bit. I still have more to learn about things. Currently have a Hadez Clone (26650 mod) with a Tobh atty and Tobh DT. I got my wife the evod with a ProTank.

I think the hardest thing about of all of this is choosing which juice I like. We spent a good 30+ minutes trying things. But I keep seeing things online and its giving me the itch to pull the trigger and just buy a bottle or two to try. Its just so many out there.

I should be buying a new mod soon but I plan on going smaller so I can work with rebuilding at lower ohms.

Hello from Roanoke, Va!! You will quickly build up a good collection of juices. Not counting my DIY juices, I probably have 30 bottles of juice at home, all 15ml or larger. Your tastes will vary, so you will find yourself switching flavors alot. If you feel like you get bored of one, or it seems to have changed flavor, put it aside and come back to it in a week or so. Yummy all over again more than likely!!

And welcome to ECF!!!

Welcome! And congratulations on making the move!
One thing I have learned from this site and the great people on it is that everybody's taste in juice is different. Something I might think is the best thing since sliced bread might make you gag! If you have the opportunity visit a vape shop and try a bunch of different juices.

Several of the vendors also sell "sampler sets" of various juices in smaller sizes that allow you to try some out!

Hi from NoVA!

Be careful ... back away from the credit card! One thing I learned too late was that a bottle here and a bottle there add up REALLY quickly! I can't tell you how many bottles of juice I got that ended up going to waste because they sounded good but did NOT taste like they sounded! I'm not trying to talk you out of trying different flavors or juices, but just keep track of it so that it doesn't get out of hand. Many vendors offer sample packs, or trial size bottles, and while this will help keep you from over buying, it is really not very cost effective doing it this way.

I completely agree with Lurch, find a vape store or 2 (or 3 or 4 or 12 ... LOL), and give them a try. It also helps to keep a list of the flavors you like and don't like, so that buying will be easier in the future.

Good luck and Welcome to ECF!

Hi from SW Virginia :) Maybe purchase sample liquids until you find the ones you like....or what flavors do you like? :)

Tracey

Hey! We're into the fruit flavors. I want to try others as well. I'll look into samples. I didn't know they had samplers out there. Good to know.

Thanks! My juice collection is easily building up..lol. When its time to add more juice to the atty, I sit there and try and decide what to use next. Its like trying to decide which door to pick for the grand prize.

Thanks! I'll be looking into the samplers. I rather pay for samples then drop that $ onto something I may not like. I'm leaving work early today. My wife doesn't know yet but we're going to go test some new juices at a shop we haven't been to yet.

Thanks! My credit card is hurting already. I picked up a Nemesis clone with a Stillare atty last night. I wanted the Steel Punk Slug but with the "boss" there, she quickly nixed that idea out of my head..lol. The amount of taste I get out of that is insane compared to my Hades mod. But the majority of the juices I have were free from a raffle. However, I've sat at 2 different stores tasting different juices for about 30min each. Just when I find the one I like, then I find another that is better. I'm all about pure VG but I'm not hating on the VG/PG mix. I have a few samples of those and its pretty good. Just gotta find the right one for me.

Hello there. My GF lives in Vienna, VA so I visit the D.C. area frequently. I'm somewhat new to vaping (I tried one of the first commercial e-cigs back in 2007 and wasn't impressed) and I'm currently awaiting a new mod with a bunch of goodies in the mail, along with 20 different juices. A friend of a friend has opened a local vape shop ink Rockville, MD [Vape Ink] and I plan on stopping by this weekend to sample some juices and check out their mods.

Welcome from Arlington!

Sample sizes are perfect, and most of the more popular vendors tend to offer them. There's also the PIF thread, and other informal exchanges.

Where are you buying all your gear and liquid?

Thanks! So far I've onky dealt with Vapor Solutions cause we know the owner and his staff and Liberty Vapor in Ashburn. I'm going to visit Vaperz Inc today to see what they have.

I work in Vienna near the golf course on 123. I'm gonna check out that spot when I get more time. My goal is to visit all the shops to see what they offer.

I'll be interested to hear your impressions of Vaperz Inc. I've heard mixed reviews and haven't stopped in as a result.

Well I went to Vaporz Inc and it was okay. Customer service was good but parking can be ify. They had a few things that no one else had but a limited selection. We then went to Hook on Vapez and it was a real nice spot. Parking there was ok but can be filled fast. They had a a limited selection as well. Customer service was good too. Then off to Falls Church to Vape in Paradyse. Spot is nice but the parking is horrible there. Don't go on the weekends either! Its located in Eden Center. They had a good selection of juices and customer service was great.

Overall, all the places I've been to already have limited selections of mods. The 3 locations that had us debating on what juices to get are Liberty Vapor in Ashburn, Vapor Solutions in Falls Church and Vape in Paradyse in Falls Church. The others didn't impress us too much with the juice selection.

Welcome, Wilson. What kind of flavors do you prefer? It's usually tobacco or fruits or desserts around here. Name a category and you will get lots of recommendations.

Thanks! I'm into fruits and dabbing here and there with desserts. So far the companies I like are Time Bomb, Buckshot, Clutch Vapor and VS.
