Hello, I am new to the forum but not vaping, hit the year mark back this last summer. I have had a problem since I started vaping, I get almost no flavor, even with new flavors, and loss of flavor after a few hours with some and half a day or so with others. I know that tanks, and e-cig unit have a bit to do with flavor and tried a few different tanks, have now settled on the Kanger Aerotank Mega, the Unitank and Protanks from Kanger where not bad but I have found I like the Unitank better and the flavor does last a bit longer with Mr. GoodVape and Mad Scientist liquid I use but not by much. I also went from a eGo V V2 over to the Joytech eVic. I have also tried a few different brands of liquid, about three in the beginning, I only remember the brand of one and thats Knoxville Vapor and all three where bad, then I went to Pink Spot after reading a few reviews online about different liquids and it was not bad at first but after a day or two the taste turned well bad. Then I found Zeus E-Juice and found I liked it, for the first few hours, I could use the flavor for about three days max before it had to be put away for weeks and then even after that, and in one cast more then a month and a new bottle, the flavor was very bland to the point of almost no flavor at all. I tried changing out to a new liquid about every day and that did not work unless I had four or five different flavors and then by the middle of the day it was to the point where I could not taste it and after using one flavor twice I had to put it away for a few weeks. Now I cycle through about three to four flavors a day. With the new tank even if the taste is a bit better, still not very strong but stronger then before, I still can't use it for more then half a day with a good or even ok flavor. I drink LOTS of water, probably around 60 FL OZ a day and as I said have not smoked cigs for over a year. My best friend uses the same three brands of liquid I use, has even tried taking a hit from my tank and gets a nice strong bold flavor and thinks I am crazy for thinking its bland and loses flavor after about half a day.

So after that long worded explanation any suggestions on how I can get a more bold flavor from my liquid, or even suggest a different brand that makes their flavors bolder then average would be very much appreciated, I refuse to go back to cigs, I like not coughing all the time and not smelling, and lets not forget breathing, I am very found of that as well, but I would really like to get the most out of vaping, better and bolder flavors would be great, that is unless Oregon puts up flavor bans.

for me the best flavor tank has been the Nautilus Mini. I use an iStick at about 13.5 watts and if the juice is good it REALLY pops in this setup. I had a bunch of protanks aerotanks etc and even tried them again a few weeks ago and they were horrible compared to the Nautilus. When my tanks start to lose flavor it is mainly because the coils are ready to be replaced.

Hi LadyGrelka and welcome to the forum. I am not familiar with the equipment you are using, but I have had flavor loss. I switch my flavors often during the day, from fruits, to bakeries, and then I have a cinnamon/green apple, and a menthol/mint for palate shock. I rarely get more than a few hours of one before I desire to change.

I have not tried such a extreme change in flavor, not a menthol fan and have not tried a cinnamon flavor, I might try getting a bottle of cinnamon and or mint for the palate chock that has been suggested, my question about that is how long should I vape one of those flavors, or is it what ever works best for me? As for the suggestion for using the Nautilus tank that is something that will have to wait, being a new college grad with not work experience because I was a stay at home mom makes the job search very difficult so my income in very limited. I did look at reviews for the Nautilus tank and found that the only real complaints about them outside of the size is a burnt taste and some say that is due to an older version of the atty and the other is how easily the glass breaks and that would be the one that worries me, I tend to knock over my ecig a few times a day, what is your view on these issues with this tank?

While I don't tend to knock mine over a few times a day I have dropped mine a couple times. As long as it doesn't land on the tank the glass is fine, if you're worried about that you can always get the metal tank for the Nautilus. I haven't noticed a burnt taste with any of my Nautis (2 mini and a full size), I think the issue was with the old BDC coils and no present in the BVC coils.

I vape a lot of unflavoured. (VG+ 10%water - cheap)
As a result I suppose, when I buy a bottle of flavoured liquid, I usually find it very strong and end up just adding a few drops at a time to what I'm vaping.

Like right now, I got 3 juice bottles open:
an apple
a grape
a tobacco

and every now and then I put 1 drop apple, 1 drop grape, and 3 or 4 drops of the tobacco into my dripper, then add another 10 to 20 more drops of mainly unflavoured and i'm finding it a nice blend.

My ecig sits on my table and I tend to bump it on occasion throughout the day when going to say change a track on my ipod while its on the dock, and not to mention that my kids have habit of bumping in to when they go to get something or just bumping the table a bit to hard, I saw a review the suggested replacing the glass with metal as well, does that effect the flavor or not, it might be a bit annoying to not know where the liquid level is but not that big of a deal. As for the coils that is another thing I found in the reviews that it seemed to be a problem with the older coils. I might see about trying to make it possible to get one and see how it works, I did see that the coils are a bit more spendy then my Kanger attys, pack of five attys for my Aerotank are 9.50$ and for the Nautilus are 10.99$ off Sun Vapor, the site that I have found is cheaper then the others I have looked at, I know that 1.50$ does not sound like a lot to some but when you are on a budget and have kids it adds up, where as my Kanger Aerotank attys last almost two weeks from the reviews the Nautilus say the attys only last a week, so where as with the Kanger attys I would only have to change the atty about three times a month I would have to change the atty for the Nautilus four to five times a month. I really want better bolder flavor but that is definitely a con I would have to consider when looking at switching to this tank at this point in time. Thanks for the info and I am more then open to hearing more about this tank from others, hmm might be time to start a new threat just for that.

I don't like to be argumentative, but most users get 2-3 weeks from Aspire BVC coils. I got 4-5 days from Kangers.

For me, the running costs are unequivocally in favor of the BVC coils.

I find it difficult to understand reviews saying Aspires last a week.... are we talking BVC or the old BDC? My BDC coils lasted 72 hours.

Clearly, you need to get the best value, so I'm happy to be wrong about this. :)

That is one of the reason I am posting on here because its nice to get more then one answer to my question instead of just reviews, 29$ to 30$ is not bad for a tank and I can probably do it but I also want to get others experiences with this before I make a final decision. With the Kanger tanks the Pro tank and the Unitank as you said get barely a week with the atty but I have been using my Aerotank with the duel core inclosed atty for around 12 days and I it only started tasting off today, but I can find how well the Nautilus coils are as long as the coil they pack with a new tank is the BVC and not the BDC, but even if it is the old BDC I can probably pick up just one BVC coil from the vape story I go to in town for my liquid if they stock them that is, so really it would be easy to find out. But as I said I like to hear from others before I make a final decision but from the few people on this site and even the reviews it looks like I might just try the new tank. Ohh and if the atty for the Nautilus is going to last two to three weeks that really I am not spending more for those then for the Kanger Aerotank attys, so you being right would be very nice lol.

I didn't think I would care for the menthol when I first heard about it (I stay away from any cig flavors). My first experience was with Halo's Kringles revenge, and I liked it. You'll know when you've had enough of a very strong flavor. I keep about a dozen inexpensive clearo's with different flavors just to switch out, with my 2 main flavors in my 2 Aspire Nautilus Mini's. (I put a rubber band on the globes of my mini's - color coded for diff flavor, and I can lay my Spinner2 VV with Nautilus down, it won't roll, and I don't worry too much about breaking it.)

Hay the rubber band thing seems like a good idea to keep clear what flavor is in which tank, as of right now I have a text file on my desktop because my tanks are different colors but if the tanks are the same color it is nice to find a way to be able to tell what flavor is in what tank. As for laying down the ecig doesn't it get annoying to get liquid in the space between where the mouth piece connects to the tank? I know that drives me nuts when the tank is in my case and I forget to lean in against something to keep it as up right as possible, or when I have to put my ecig in my purse and it ends up on its side.
