Hello, so I was thinking about vaping and I've been looking around the net on the pros and cons of vaping, I was just wondering would it be a good idea to start.

My past smoking history would be that I've only smoked a couple packs my cigarettes my whole life and lately I've been having the urge to smoke again but I don't want to smoke cigarettes, so I was thinking about e-cigarettes with zero nicotine in them instead of real cigarettes. After some research I ended up thinking about getting this starter kit ==> eGo-C Twist w/ CE5 Ultimate Starter Kit

Any other recommendations? Ty for the replies and happy vaping :)

Welcome to ECF.

If you don't smoke I would not suggest starting to vape. But if the urge is that strong then I recommend vaping over smoking any day of the week.

That said; The eGo is a good started kit. Get some extra clearo's or an atty or tank setup. Make sure you keep water handy as vaping dehydrates. Get sample packs of juice till you find flavors you like. Try different vendors for juice as well.

I agree with SilentScreams and Tiforever. If you aren't smoking, I don't recommend that you start vaping.

However, if the urge to start smoking does return, vaping is certainly a better choice than smoking.

I agree that the eGo and clearomizer or mini Vivi Nova tank is a nice beginner's setup. And juice samplers offer the best way to find a flavor that you will enjoy.

Whatever keeps you off of the smokes. :vapor:

Say I do get the ego c twist with the vivi mini nova, would it be a good idea when I'm not vaping to remove the tank from the battery because I've read posts about people having battery issues and what not involving the connection.

btw thank you for the replies so far, I've still debating on if I want to start this habit, but it wouldn't be a bad to have it on the side so I at least have that choice rather then feeling that strong urge to smoke.

if not the ego c twist, I was kinda debating on this ==> http://smokelessimage.com/starter-kits/voltprem.html

It certainly wouldn't hurt if it makes you feel more comfortable. Also make sure the connector can't bridge a connection--so don't toss it in a pile of change, for example. Should it manage to fire, somehow, that could be a problem.

Hold off if you can. It's certainly best for you if you're breathing clean air. But if you're going to smoke, vape instead and go zero nic. You should have no trouble putting that down without physical withdrawal symptoms (psychological ones are another story) whenever you want.

if not the ego c twist, I was kinda debating on this ==> Smokeless Image | The Best Electronic Cigarette

The Smokeless Image version uses an 808 thread, the eGo-C Twist uses a 510 thread. I use an 808 and prefer it, but there are more things available for the 510 thread.

Regardless, if you want to use a Vivi Nova on that, an adapter is available to convert the 808 to 510 (and vice-versa). I keep several adapters on hand for my 510 devices so everything I have works with every vaporizer--except the Kanger T3 tank! But there I can get different bases to adapt to whatever vape I want to use that day.
