I'm sorry, I'm not knowledgable with the V2. I do have a joyetech eroll, and the atti does heat up on that, which is normal. You learn not to hold it in that particular area.

I just checked them out online. I couldn't find anything that would answer that problem. But, I sure if you asked that question in a new post, someone here will be able to answer that for you. Hope that helps.

Welcome in, atomicdev and congrats on taking up vaping! V2 got me off cigs too, and I still use their batteries in rotation with an eGo/protank setup.

The V2 carts tend to heat up a bit if you chain vape. One way to avoid that is to keep two units going at a time and alternate between them. This gives each one time to cool down in between vapes. Also, get some e-liquid and top up your cartridges periodically so you don't run the risk of burning them dry. (This will also extend the life of each cart, if you refill them, and it's less expensive to refill/reuse carts.) Have you tried their clearomizers? You shouldn't have so much of a problem with the clearos heating up. The V2 clearos aren't the best out there, though. If you want to stay with the V2 batteries, see if you can find Kanger e-smart clearomizers. They're the best for 808-threaded batteries like V2, IMO.
