Welcome to the forum

Some people need to slowly taper off the analogs (cigarettes). Just keep with it.

Let us know what equipment (link to actual product if purchased online) and nic strength you are using and we will be better able to let you know of any specific suggestions

Welcome to the forum to both of you. All you can do is take it as a victory every cigarette you don't smoke and go from there.

Finding a good setup is critical too in the vaping journey. If you are constantly having to fiddle and have no confidence in your equipment, you will always have a reason to have cigarettes around.

I'd highly recommend pulling up a chair and spending some time on the forums, learn about your equipment and take some of the positive vibes from the community around here.

Don't beat yourself up about smoking a cigarette here and there - as we always say on the ECF, it's the ones you don't smoke that count.

Welcome. I had trouble too in the beginning. My body was going through detox for a bit I actually ended up getting a cold, whether it was related or not. Moving to vaping is easier then going cold turkey, and way more fun to boot. Here are a few suggestions that may help you cut down cigs even more or even be done with them from personal experience.

• Stop going outside with co-workers for smoke breaks, or don't stand near them where you can catch a whiff of their second hand smoke, it will only make you want one more.
• Try some new flavors. You may find one you love even more.
• If you feel you are not getting enough nicotine, try changing the way you inhale. The thing is, the nicotine is taken in from your mouth, not your lungs. Take a few puffs like a cigar before inhaling pulls into your lungs.
• I personally took Valerian Root to help reduce my anxiety for a bit whenever it started getting bad.
• For me, one reason I quit smoking aside from the health thing was money. I went and spent a little bit extra on some cool accessories and stuff to deter me from spending any more money on cigs.
• Get a cool mod to get bigger hits and clouds :)
• Turn vaping into a real hobby like many of us here. Get friends into it so you guys can share flavors and hardware. Go to local stores and start chatting with others there about vaping (flavors, mods, etc) while vaping, etc. Check out some of the vaping web shows floating around :)

Well, good luck, these are a few things that helped me get passed the initial hurdle. I'm around the same point you are so you know, a little over a month of vaping.

What kind of setup are you working with? What about what you have isn't as desirable as analogs? Vaping is not smoking, so there will be differences, but we can help you find something better suited to your needs with some info. Also, welcome to ECF!

I am using a ego starter kit with a evod clearo, I find it fine, I don't feel like a cigarette once I'm using it,just finding it difficult when family members are offering me cigarettes

I'm not judging you or your family members, but sometimes people want us to carry on smoking to make them feel less guilty about smoking.

A buddy of mine kept offering me cigarettes when I started vaping (he'd never offered me a cigarette ever before)

I politely declined each time and eventually asked him to stop offering. He's now a 4 month veteran vaper...

Thanks, thought I was the only person to find it so hard lol, I don't know much about the e cigarettes, my cousin is always talking to me about it, and because of him it has made me want to give up smoking, so I thought I'd give it a go, but it's gonna take a while to learn about all of the accessories I can get for it :)

Yeah that's how my family are and they are all heavy smokers and so are my friends, and they feel guilty when they are all smoking and I'm not, but I haven't bought a pack of fags since I bought my e cigarette, but had the odd analog now and then

Hello and welcome to ECF!! I think you just need to find your right set up to get full enjoyment out of vaping and then leaving the analogs behind will be easier. What nic level are you vaping?

I am vaping a 24mg, I'm finding it tough when people are offering me cigarettes
