Can't help you with repair on the Blu.

How long have you been using Blu and are completely happy with the small cigalikes? You could order another battery from Blu.

Volt makes a cigalike that is well regarded, but they are only available online as far as I know. And I don't think they are compatible with Blu cartos. Smokeless Image | The Best Electronic Cigarette

Normally I would suggest something like this, http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm , but you may not feel comfortable with the ego style batteries.

all e-cig "stick" types have a design flaw

More than likely you horked down on the cartridge to the battery, crushing the rubber gasket under the center positive pin causing a short, there is a fix

At around 3:00 is where he explains the problem

If that doesn't fix it...you can buy spares

My husband and I bought blu starter kits and they were nothing but a pain! We even bought a 3rd starter kit and all batteries were dead within the first 2 months.

Made the switch to itaste vv3.0 and never looked back! I love it, but the battery won't last me a full day as I'm vaping heavily and trying to get off analogs. I plan on the new VTR when it comes out and the itaste will be a backup!

A fix for the larger eGo type deals too

Yikes...just realize you gutted your e-cig battery!!!

Yeah...you pretty much hosed that one bud...main reason I don't see the "wires" on the battery, those are automatic...they have 3 wires, red (+) black (-), and the third line is the control line from the LED head (where all the electronics for the e-cig are contained, teeny micro circuit stuff ) to the ground of the 510 auto connector (which allows charging and usage)

I took two of my Totally Wicked Titan Tank batteries (the short and long one) and this was what was inside it

As link above shows...you can buy more batteries for those e-cig sticks, or go for a workhorse and get the eGo type manual batteries
