Hi everyone first post here. Ive been a smoker since i was 15 and now I'm 27. I decided to give e cig a shot to help me finally quit from smoking. I smoke marlboro red about 1 pack in 1 1/2 day. What would you guys suggest for a good starter kit that would be the closest flavor and drag? After couple days of searching on internet im leaning towards green smoke however im not too quite sure if im reading from honest reviewers or some paid people thus i came here for help. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance and really appreciate it.

I would recommend getting the EGO twist. If you like the draw of a cigarette than try a carto tank to deliver the liquid. People will recommend the vivi nova and vision clearomizers but some find the draw too tight. Carto tanks have an easier draw to them more like the real thing. I can try and find you some links to these products if you would like. Green smoke is not the best you can do.

I have a similar story. Started at 18, now 27. I've been off cigs for 3 weeks now. I'll tell you my setup. I got 2 eGo Twists 1000 mAh, and now have 2 Kanger T2, and 1 Kanger T3. They work great for me. As far as flavor, I can't help you there... I wanted to stay away from the tobacco flavor. There will be plenty of recommendations for those. I like to change flavors a lot so I keep all 3 of my tanks filled with different flavors. If you are hell bent on have a cig-sized kit, I have seen a lot of people reccommend the Volt kit from Smokeless Image. I don't mind the size of the Twist battery. It's close to a sharpie marker.

By the way, If you can get started, this will be the best decision you ever make! I have been nothing but happy, even through the occasional dry/burnt hit. It took me about a week and a half before I stopped thinking about smokes when I woke up, and I still occasionally think about them when I get in my car, but I always have my PV close and I haven't slipped since about 4 days in.

GOOD LUCK BROTHER!

This is the e cig battery I would recommend. It's about the size of a sharpie. Get 2 of them in the 1000 mah size. You will also need a charger for them
This is the tank I would recommend
This is the cartomizer I would get to replace the one in the tank with as needed
These three things are tried and true. The Ego twist lets you turn up the heat to the liquid via a knob on the bottom in order to get more or less vaper per draw. The tank is made to work with the ego battery. Those cartomizers are 3 ohm which is what you will want if you are running it on the ego twist. If you insist on a cig sized one (and many folks do at 1st) then check out the volt from smokless image.com

Thanks for immediate replies guys. Looking forward to buying some sort of set up soon. Now i just gotta familiarize and research about the technical stuff. Im kinda confuse about the ml's and stuff and tanks. Is there a place that sell a kit? Are these brtter than those cig looking ones? Are they portable too like they'll work with batteries etc? Thank you thank you again!

No one can say for sure but NOTHING is worse than cigaretts. I think most here will agree that their lungs start to clear up and sense of smell returns in a pretty short time after switching to vaping. I had bronchitis for over 2 years before I made the switch and my lungs are nearly clear now. I have been vaping and not smoking since Feb 10th of this year. My health is taking an amazing turn.

Taste is subjective but I smokes 2+ Packs a day of Marlboro lights and I ONLY vape dekang desert ship from healthcabin.net. Before I found that I used USA light or USA Red from myfreedomesmokes.com. They were pretty close I thought. You will have a hard time trying to match it all the way. Try some off the wall flavors like pina colada or cake batter as well. You will be very surprised what you end up liking in the end. You won't believe how easy it is to cheat ciggs with vaping. Get as many flavors as you can afford in the smallest bottles possibal in order to save money and try the most the fastest. If you get just a big bottle of one flavor you will be sure to hate that one.

The reason people suggest skipping the cig look alike is due to its WAY under performing a little bigger battery. It will give weaker and weaker hits as the battery drains and the battery will need charged about every 3 to 4 hours. An ego twist battery can be turned up and a 1000 mah battery will last around 8 hours. A battery can only hold 2 or 300 charges so when it is dead it goes in the garbage. That's why people end up moving up to mods that take replaceable batteries. The batteries for a bigger mod go for 8 to 10 bucks while an ego or a cig look alike batt will go for 25 to 30 bucks. I hope this helps.

The nicotine is in miligrams. I used 24 mg when I started out and slowly went down to 18 mg liquid. What kind of marloboros did you smoke and how many a day? You will put the liquid in the cartomizer and in the tank around it too. They should sell a charger for that ego. I will see if I can get you a link. The start up is expensive but the cost goes WAY down once you find what gear and liquid you like. Also you can type in how to fill a cartomizer and tank on you tube and watch videos of how to fill them while waiting for your stuff to arrive.

You just need an ego charger. They have one there but its too expensive IMHO. I would look at one of the other places you order from 1st before you pay 10 bucks. You can probably get one for 4 or 5 bucks if you look at places you order the liquid and such from. 1 cartomizer can last you 3 days or even up to 2 weeks. It just depends. I like to have no less than 10 on hand just in case of zombie apocalypse LOL

You won't get nic poisoning if you are worried about it. You will feel sick if you have had too much just like with real cigs. To high and you will be coughing and to low and you will have nic fits. I would try both 18 and 24 mg if I were you. Also you asked about mls. Try and buy your liquid in 5 or 10 ml bottles at 1st till you find what you like. 5 mls = a teaspoon. When you go to start looking at liquids your 1st question will be what are PG and VG? I cannot spell them but PG gives more throat hit and VG more vaper. some people can be more sensitive to PG. PG also carries flavor better than VG. I would try anywhere from 80% PG on down to 50% Sorry for all the chopped up posts. I keep thinking of stuff to tell you.

Both will work but I would get 3 ohms. The ohms are how hot the coil will burn. If you had say 1.5 ohms and you turn up the heat you may burn out your carto too soon so I stay with 3 ohm ones. The twists are what we call variable voltage and can go up to 4.8 volts I believe. I use the 3 ohm cartos up to 6 volts at times and they do just fine. 3 ohms is a good way to be able to fine tune your vape on an ego twist.
