Hello everyone I'm new to the vaping scene and have a question. I'm getting into mechanical mods and I was looking at the kamry k101. From my understanding it is not a a dual coil. The atty I want to get is a tobh clone v2 and the atty is meant for dual coils. If the kamry k101 is a single coil will the Atty still work? Any help is appreciated! Thanks !

First welcome to ECF!!! :toast:

The K101 is not a single coil and not a dual coil, it is a mechanical mod, and yes the TOBH is meant for dual coils. I don't know how new you are to vaping, but based on your question I think it would be best for you to start off with a regulated device first and not get into rebuilding coils. There is a lot to learn about building coils, battery types and safety etc, and you would need to invest in other testing gear and new batteries and a new charger then what comes with the K101.

The problem with mod K100 kits, such as this one, is that the batteries are not suitable for USE IN ANY MECHANICAL MOD. That goes for the charger a well. As a "novice vapor" you would have no way of knowing this.

I agree with tayone! Stick with a regulated mod until you learn what you need to learn before you venture into mechanical mods. There are many wonderful variable v/w mods that will allow you to learn safety before venturing into rebuildables.

I have to agree with Tayone as well. If you want to be a cloud chaser, you need to do the research and understand just how these devices work. Same as getting in a boxing ring with gloves and calling yourself a boxer if you've never boxed before. Start small with maybe a spinner and a basic tank.. Get a feel for how it works. Taste new flavors and see what your likes and dislikes are. Once you have done that, then you can move up to bigger and better. I have been vaping for a good while now and I have started at the bottom and am currently working my way up. I am just now getting into building coils and attempting to obtain my first mech mod. Although, I am new to building, I take the time to read up on other vapers experiences and learn from their mistakes, so that I don't waste good money by being foolish. Take my advice and take your time. Cloud chasing will come soon enough.
